Shure you can mine is and I don't have any issues my ISP assings 255.255.255.o as thier subnet and my internal network with DHCP from my Linksys is also set to the same. As an owner of a 6 and 3 year old I know at that stage of development it is fairly easy to maintain a satisfactory entertainment level Don't worry to much of the child proofing they are not much of a problem by that age for getting in to stuff. Movies are good (Prefer them over T.V.) Zoo and petting Zoo areas are an excellent place. If you have a Children’s museum or Science centers lots of hands on and experimenting will keep them going for hours. Other people offspring of the same age range will occupy for a considerable amount of time. Ikea Play land (this is a easy one if you need a sanity break lol) Parks with play structures, Wood land areas they are at a huge discovery age just exploring is entertaining to them. Disney Land If all else fail duct tape and a box in the basement will solve that after a couple hours when they are let out EVERY THING is then entertaining SO this one time at band camp..... But wasn't one of those reason to expose jummpers to more sitituations because they will have more time in the air? I agree better training is making it easier to achive a licence. I'm close to my A but I feel I'm still missing a lot. I still seek out as much information as I can, but some people are content to have there A in 25 jumps and off they go unsupervised and leave it at that and just jump . Sign me up! I'm a new jumper but my intentions it to learn as much as I can from as many people as possible and be self reliant. Maybe it my time in the military but I feel some times the old ways are best for a reason. Too many people want instant gratification with as little effort as possible. I look forward to doing water and night jumps it’s yet another aspect where I get to push my self. I’ve talked to my instructor and others that have jump for a long time and listened to how they described what they went through to get each of their certification and I look at some of the requirements of it now days and I feel a little cheated. I want to have pride in earning each level as I progress. How would you feel that after a week at a new job you are brought out in front of every one and given award for your all your hard work? What would that award mean to you? And what would it mean to the others that work with you? I can see exactly how some of the old time jumpers are feeling. We have a whole generation of people looking to get ahead the easy way and changes in this sport are just a reflection of that and society in general. There is all this talk on retention in this sport and to make it easier for up jumpers to achieve licenses. I think airtwardo hit the nail on the head with this one. Let those who want to just fun jump and enjoy their time in the sport have a path and those who want something more out of this sport have another. Some people are idiots, it means “Windows Vista capable” that you put vista on it it's not going to crap out and blue screen because the components don't have drives or the architecture of the component are not going to be incompatible with the OS. It doesn’t mean it will come with every feature. Shit I bought a Vista capable laptop for my wife but it had XP on it I should join the lawsuit. If people would take 5 min and read the features on the box before buying they wouldn’t have these issues What about all the XP capable pc that only came preloaded with home edition? and didn’t have the XP features like join domain and the added security features ? Any way I'm going to go now and think of some great lawsuits like the car ads I see I'll buy only the base model and claim the ads misleads because it doesn’t have all the features i seen in the comercial.
