  6. Yeah it summer then but I'm fully aware of global seasons, The reason is that we are doing a World trip and it's a one way deal, so North america is at the start. I've never seen snow so I wanted to see the rockies in winter. is there a trans country rail service that goes across? Just so it's clear I HAVE NO PLANS REPEAT NO PLANS TO DRIVE ON SNOW[RED] I'm looking at travelling overland if possible by rail or bus
  7. Well, it's ok for you to celebrate VD because you are sweet and considerate every day. Twisted, yes, but still sweet and considerate.
  8. Okay people, the point of this thread is not to be a hater on VD day, it's to be a LOVER EVERY day!!!! I have no problem with other people celebrating as they see fit. I used to buy into the hoopla. But I realized it's meaningless to be told i am loved because it's Feb 14, when i don't feel loved the other days of the year. Speaking hypothetically, of course.....
  9. My point exactly!!!! And I agree with you on the Christmas/retail overload. Again, it's become about how much money they can get you to spend in an effort to prove to people that they're important. Blah!! The ones I love, I love every day. And I don't wait for birthday, anniversary, holidays to let them know.
  10. Wow!! You better hold on to that man-he's a keeper!!
  11. Works BOTH ways...! OK, I'll give ya that one. Women can be as stuipid as men sometimes.
  12. But what people (men) don't understand, is it's those little things that keep the relationship alive and the sparks going. Too many go for the thrill of the hunt, then quit once the "capture" is made.
  13. Bill!! What are you doing even opening a thread with the 'f' word in it? .....I'm going to get blamed for this, I just know it............

    DINNER!!!!

Well, for the rest of my family, I made crab legs . And because I was afraid there wouldn't be enough, I also made chicken. But I ate granola cereal. This is why I hate to cook. By the time I'm done preparing and cooking the food, the smell of it makes me feel yuck. I have food issues.
  15. Yes, I believe you are correct in the interpretation of the boycott. Now, the being alone on your birthday thing...that's not right. Birthdays are VERY important!!!!!
  16. Who did he miss? I count 15 on both lists.....

    DINNER!!!!

Umm, Sweety, you might consider adding chicken and noodles. And on a serious note, lemongrass. Chicken noodle soup is one of the RARE things I've made from scratch. I actually do it pretty well!! (But please don't tell anyone....)
  22. I've managed quite nicely sitting in front of my computer screen. My butt is numb though.
  23. And for those of you requiring a translation, Squeak's statement means: Squid means teacher's pet which is what Bolas is for alphebitizing the list. [/translation]
