I plan to be there. Maybe just for kicks we could do some dives where we all form up tight and fly well. ;-) Weather has been fighting us in the Northwest so we have started heading out mid week if the weather is good. See you there, Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

Nice Job. How long was the real jump? Looks like it was a sequence of places cut together between the jump, flight, landing. And don't we all wish we could get things on that quickly while running to the plane. ;-) Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

Is the video something you can copy? Is it good quality stuff? Cheers, bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

For those who car it is Bright sunny today, Tuesday June 18th, and Snohomish is going to be open at 3:30 with the Caravan flying. I will be there to make some leaps and see if I can remember, or learn, how to fly. Anyone want to join in the fun. SMOG, Visibility today is about 75-100 miles. When was the last time that happened for you. Here it happens every time the clouds clear. Yea both days of summer. Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

There is a good picture in the book Birdmen, Batmen, and Skyflyers. I suggest contacting the author and see if you can buy a blowup. [url]http://www.amazon.com/Birdmen-Batmen-Skyflyers-Wingsuits-Perfected/dp/1400054923/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-3938144-4625736?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1182204402&sr=8-1 I looked around and could find nothing better quality than in the book. Establishing a System / Process for Wingsuit Records ?
BobFolline replied to ScottGray's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I agree with Scott as well. I would like to see the definition of complete formation as slot perfect as planned and within +/- 10 degrees of drawn formation. Therefore a record formation would always start with a drawn formation. Drawing the formation after it happens is not acceptable. But what about lets take grips and forget the grip question? I am sure we could start some 4-6 ways with grips. Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit. -
Scott, Both of my rigs are Infinity with Wingsuit corners and long bridle. You are welcome to jump either any time you want. My Gold black rig should fit your main just fine and has the mods you want. Let me know if you are interested? Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

Let's see you found the PC and Bag and you found the main. What was my part in this again ... Oh Yea I packed the mess in the first place. ;-) Any chance I can talk some of the Birds to come up for some flocks in Washington this summer? We are planning three Events in Seattle Area. Details as soon as we have hard dates. Thanks again, Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

If only my line twist had come out as well ;-) Thank you to all who helped me recover the Main, PC and Bag. Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

That was a well done Video. You did some real nice approaches there. Especially the one taking the slot to the right. And if only it was that easy to put the low folks back in the formation LOL. Will you be posting this one anywhere else in full definition? Cheers, Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

I edited together some of my footage from my favorite moments from the weekend, and put them up on youtube ------------------------- Some good footage but you needed to take a look to your right so I could be in the picture as well. ;-) Nice job recovering from the burbles. Thank you Ed for hosting the event and thank you all for a great time. And Thanks to Scott I finally have pictures of my S-6. See you for the fall meet. ------------- How many people would be interested in coming to an event here in the Northwest? We are working on putting together three events this summer in Seattle area plus the already scheduled events in Oregon and Canada. Bob Folline Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... So we can count on the Lodie Base specialists then? ;-) Scott and Bob from Northwest will be there and we hope optimistically that Paul will join us last minute. VegReg has his own meet this year. ;-) So I did manage to get in 5 practice jumps a week ago so we are at least not arriving raw. And man that S-6 is a work-out when you drive it hard. See you all tomorrow. Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

There were plenty of tents on the lawn last year in November for the Fog watching. I have tickets and hotel and trying to talk more of the Northwest birds to come down. We have had almost no flights this winter. Right now it looks like just Scott and myself are the only ones. See you there, Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Very nice! So when and where will the full length version be? BTW: Did anyone ever post anything from Z-Hills Christmas 2006? I still have never seen a picture of my S-6 in flight. And with the weather in the NorthWet I may never see it. ;-) Cheers, Bob Folline Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

Mad Dog ... But I'm sure Ed has another name for Me. ;-) Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

It could be worse. I voluntarily sent mine back into the black hole for a repair. Jussi told me it will ship last week ...! I hope I see it again before Summer is over. Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

Jari, Excellent job on the flight. Was there actually a contact dock and if so was that the foot with the ribbon? I'll bet you could do that now with little effort. Now I have to give it a try, Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.

Hackey on both rigs: no problems on my GTI and Infinity Hell of a time pulling the Hackey with Inifinity and S-6. I am considering using a base pouch with the S-6 as the procedure of reaching in; sliding hands up to rig; extract PC; realy eats some altitude and occasionally is very hard to pull things out. Probably something I could get used to but I don't see a downside to the base pouch for flocking dives. Bob Working to be the last flyer on a birdman suit. ;-) ... Who also flies a tony suit.
