Colorado has some of the best skiing in the world and 25 is not too cold for learning, have a great time while you are here. If I may I suggest going to ski school rather then learning from a friend. -

Make no mistake...... in the short time that I have been involved with this sport I have seen many people do one tandem and disappear as fast as they appeared........I have seen people quit because they failed a level once or twice........I saw one of my instructors go to the hospital after being knocked unconscious from a hard landing when he was doing a video for a tandem.........I have seen a few cutaways also.........I have spent DAYS at the DZ waiting for the winds to die down just so I can make that 1 jump just to go home with NO jumps........I have learned a lot just by reading posts here on DZ.COM and from the videos that peeps post. So....while I do not intend to "down play" my number of jumps I recognize that I still have a ways to go before I can call myself a "skydiver." Thank you for your support! ~~~>

My first time out of a plane was in September 2005, it was a tandem (the one and only one I will ever do) I have completed the AFF course at my DZ, so I do get to jump solo. I am at a jump count of 15. (yes, I know......this number is insignificant to anyone with 50 or more) I am current and intend to stay current until winter breaks here in Colorado at which time I can hammer on my "A." I have spent over $2500.00 on this new addiction and I am not going to stop anytime soon. I will be a partying mofo when I do get my "A" but until then I do not consider myself a "skydiver" but I am committed to becoming one! Once I achieve this goal of obtaining my "A," I believe I will have earned the right to call myself a skydiver. ~~~>

If the mother was so concerned and was unfamiliar with the material she should have known that she would never actually take the time to review a 600+ minute series and declined the offer. (thanks but no thanks.....really isn't that hard to say) It is not briguys responsibility that this woman chose to let a DVD baby-sit her child! Also, it is sad when someone is trying to be nice and it blows up in ones face, very sad. ~~~>

lmao..... I don't know what is funnier the dumbass flipping off the cop or the cop who flipped out and started beating the crap out of the dumbass? ~~~>
