POPS membership in the mail.. took $45 and an hour and a half and got my hair cut and my tire mounted.. even had enough time to have a nice lunch at a little Korean hole in the wall restaurant..     Hey Skye.. Just because you don't go up and jump outta da plane with us doesn't mean you aren't part of our family.. I love that there is room for non-skydivers in the dropzone family. We have a non-jumping packer (Nick0, a dubber and manifest chickie (you), a ground photographer (Lany), a pilot (Mongo) and a dz toddler (Jett). All of you guys are a big part of the make-up of our dz. It makes it feel more like a family because you guys are there.. If you ever decide to jump again, that's cool.. if not, that's way cool too.     I also think you'd have alot better luck selling a show vs. a station but possibly doing a weekly segment on some of our stars and their adventures.. Following Team Extreme around and seeing what JC, Clint, Jim and Luigi are up to.. or catching the Flyboyz teaching the Golden Knights how to freefly.. Also, I like someone's idea of "How the Prop turns" A show with a home dz.. and a basic cast of characters that rotates the way skydivers do.. Then ya got.. Highlights from the boogies..     I had a similar thing happen to me at my first American boogie.. too much of that string beer the night before.. I was jumping my javelin.. and suddenly I was paralyzed with fear in freefall that it had fallen off. I got through freefall and then under canopy, I was still terrified and literally was holding onto the risers thinking I could climb up them if my straps failed.. I ended up landing almost in the canal, my pilot chute in it.. decided that was my last jump of the boogie.. haven't had anything that freaky since.. I wasn't sure if I was going to jump again but the next weekend in Perris, I was fine. It was around jump 300... give or take a hundred.. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking..
