I haven't heard anything about this myself. If it's not covered then yes, lets start something for her right away. Her sister sent me an email because i started the incident thread and explained her plight asking if the skydiving community could help.. I forwarded it to Bonnie figuring she was best to organize something along those lines but I think it would be great if we could start it with funds from the dz.com record jumps this weekend. I fwe do it in 4 jumps and we have 17 people... that's $68. Not much when you consider the cost of all that work but it's a start and every little bit will help.

Hey Shannon... Is that you and Sandi in your new avatar? Speaking of Sandi... it is my understanding that she is lacking dental insurance and is going to need a ton of dental work done.. Would anyone be opposed to contributing $1 per attempt per person to start a fund for Sandi's dental work? It would be a nice start and we could dedicate the record to her. OK... waiver filled out... shopping list made... almost packed... gotta load the car... stop by work and pretend to do something for a few hours... and then off to Davis and the tedious business of setting up camp... hmmm.... I've also considered an old gymsock placed gently but firmly in her mouth held in place wiht about 10 feet of duct tape.. coupled wiht more duct tape applied around her wrists keeping them safely behind her back.. but the handy dandy tazer gun sounds like more fun... Oh God.. if it were only that easy... before I tuned out the noise.. I heard about the heat in the tent (she brought portable fans), the showers probably being cold, the noise from other people in their tents, the need for 2-3 pillows and the mosquitoes... the noise was still droning on but i couldn't hear anything any more.... somehow I don't think a simple cot will fix this... We'll probably be out there around 5... Just listen for whining... you'll know we're there.. Edited to add: in the meantime, i gotta claim my internet access is down so she doesn't see this and eaither a)increase the volume and pitch, b)just plain kick my ass or c)increase the volume and pitch while kicking my ass... chopchop gotta go...
