I agree with your assessment here. Cause you are right that it took a hit in the PRESS. And the press being what it is today (left wing Obama shills) no one who thinks would take it serious *** So what you are saying then is that a drug dealer did NOT shoot two people and get away with it? you're crazier than I thought.....
-
From our Tampa newspaper....
-
3 months behind you - September 13, 1981, Gananoque ON, Paracommander IAD jump wow,
-
SYG takes another hit in the press. Yep....it's a FANTASTIC law.... http://www.tampabay.com/news/courts/criminal/drug-dealer-used-stand-your-ground-to-avoid-charges-in-two-killings/1235650 But at least it's not a 'gun problem'
-
watch this.....
-
I have no idea - why? You do not even know yourself. Why do we have more gun deaths than other countries that have fewer guns? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate We only rank better than a handful of third world countries....wow.... I not actually getting dragged into this despite your best efforts. I know that gun registration does not solve the problem. i know that gun restrictions do not solve the problem. But the problem is still a gun problem. Just like underage drinking laws do not solve drinking problems for teens, but it is still a teenage drinking problem.....

well said, and all the issues you speak of manifest themselves as a gun problem (amongst other problems)

no more tin hat that Obama being a socialist, or a commie, or a Nazi, or heading towards oblivion, or whatever the other side comes up with. If it is not too much to ask, I would appreciate religion remain neutral within government, given that government needs to represent everyone. If the right would concede that, I might even be willing to concede voter ID requirements.
-
You're right - the supreme court doesn't 'mean anything' Name a Supreme court decision that 'changes from time to time' Perhaps you mean THESE decisions? http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/church-state/decisions.html, many of which are decades old and still standing. When government prays in my City Council chambers before a meeting, they ARE state-sponsoring a religion. When they broadcast prayers over school audiences, they ARE state-sponsoring a religion. Not sure what you mena by 'intent'. Christianity still has a death grip ont he entire country, with an overwhelming majority of support, but government still needs to remain neutral in all aspects of it. YOUR religion is not under any threat, nor has it ever been. But government IS under a threat of becoming a theocracy.

you forgot to re-quote the part of where I said you would still find a fucking way to argue with me..... and you proved me right again,
-
you guys fucking kill me, I expect that even if I COMPLETELY AGREED WITH YOU, you would still find a fucking way to argue with me..... get over yourselves. good night.
-
Um - in case you missed it, I was actually not advocating for any sort of gun restrictions.... I simply stated that there is a gun problem - much the same as there is a car wreck problem and maybe even a drug problem It would also appear that there is a comprehension problem too....
-
the poll is flawed to begin with. 'Banning guns' would not stop the shootings. so either answer makes no difference ELIMINATING guns would. no guns, no gun violence. If course that is only an ideology. At least Canada thinks it has a gun problem, the USA lives in denial. But neither country is any closer to a solution.

Z is still a douchebag - and so's his wife....
-
we don't need your interpretation of the definitions or what it means. The Supreme Court has already ruled on it many times in many cases.

Brilliant response

only part of this thread is about voter ID. The larger majority is about spending possibly millions to purge the voter roles of perhaps tens of thousands of people that are eligible to vote, in order to save a hundred or two who are NOT eligible to vote. I guess then you are OK with showing up at the polls just to find out that your name got purged? If you want to live in such an ideologically pefect world, well.....good luck.
-
No, I believe that handing people more POWER leads to corruption at whatever level. Not sure what the Youtube flick is supposed to prove, the thread is about immigration laws...... not voter ID. I was offering a sample of spending a huge amount of resources to fix a very and possibly insignificant problem - at the same time creating a bigger problem
-
And now we have wandered away from the thread. (again) My posts and comments had nothing to do with Clinton, yet I managed to let myself get dragged down the path. It also had nothing to do with Z's wife until a couple days ago when she LIED to the court. My comments (which you apparently have not bothered reading, but I would expect no less) had to do with both of them being douchebags for lying to the court. I did not bring Clinton into the argument. But yes, lying about a MURDER C ASE is far more significant than lying about a BLOWJOB case. whatever way you want to spin it. And no she is not charged with MURDER. but her husband sure as hell is and if she is going to LIE to the court, then in fact she is LYING while involved in a MURDER case. just in case you had obviously missed all of the possible clarifications that could have been made. Once again, very slowly so you do not miss it. I actually believe that Z and his wife had a walk-away case of self defense. They have to say nothing and the state has to prove the crime. It light of their blatant attempts to be as stupid as any defendant could possibly be in destroying their own credibility - they are IMO- douchebags.
-
The post you reference has little to do with guns or my opinion about guns. It has to do with douchebags walking around with guns pretending to be cops, facetiously in my neighborhood. I have a drunk neighbor who likes to get into fights and create noise. He's a douchbag too. That does not mean that I have some problem with alcohol or people's right to it. It means that I have a problem with douchbag drunk neighbors that make noise. Thanks for making my point in the previous reply to you - you do not get it, not likely that you will.
-
it is still and order of magnitude of difference between the two situations. And if Clinton and Z lied, then they are both douchbags, IMO It's pretty freaking easy to get someone to stand up and say something about a President or a candidate's past - both parties openly lie about those things every campaign. Herman Cain - old girlfriends-done. John Kerry and swift boat. Obama - he's a Muslim. Reagan - lie about Iran Contra. Bush - authorized torture. as I said, an order of magnitude between the two
-
I gave up on the gun issue. And for that matter, I have never proclaimed that the government should take guns away or even regulate them. What I have insisted is that the USA has a gun problem, which of course every right-winger has concluded therefore (being the commie socialist that I obviously am) that somehow I am for no guns I actually have quite an arsenal myself. But the USA still has a gun problem. once again you attempt to read and understand, but you end up only reading......

actually your Christian beliefs are 'hate' you are against gays, you use 'God' as your 'comfort' when killing someone in battle. You used your 'privileges' to try and undermine my business sometime ago. these are not the traits that Jesus taught, but they are the traits of a typical twisted Christian ideology that promotes strict obedience, and thus the hatred of many others, their beliefs and their lifestyles.

liar liar pants on fire..... communication when writing actually takes two parties to complete. It takes one to write clearly and one to actually comprehend what the writer is saying. too bad you missed it.
