I think I probably did, but I don't remember. And even if I did see and meet ya, I couldn't speak. I still have laryngitis. Well, I could but I sounded funny. I think it was all the talking I did in the FJC, then after a few beers I could not shut up. Nobody was listening anyway. Guess I'll see ya when I see ya!

Ah, but the Bombshelter was the bomb! I taught the FJC at 'Snore, then heard a bunch of freaks had tunnel time late in the evening. So, having a time to kill, and shit weather we decided to drink a few Coronas at the Bombshelter. What started out as a 2 beer an burger dinner with Rich turned into running a tab on my card as more people flocked to our table. First JP, (who mentioned that SunnyD123 was roaming around,) showed up and started taking pictures of the crowd, then Christy from the tunnel came by, then Kathy S and Bob L. Then the Elsinore freaks rolled in and took advantage of the aforementioned tab and finally Erin shows up. Shortly afterwards we DD Rich's wifey in TX. I guess my card wasn't too maxed out, but it was a little shocking to see the damage of what started out to be a beer and burger. Oh, and the tunnel flying was awesome! Well, even for a spectator. I got my fix last Monday.

So are you implying that if I do not die from Vigil use in the next few years you'll buy one? Or are you saying we are all idiots for using new products? Your tone reflects the latter.

Any other issues such as it being set wrong? Bad Batteries? Missing its checks? What was it blamed on? Are you paying retail for it? If so why a Vigil, and not a CYPRES? Which BTW the CYPRES 2 has already had some minor issues. The unit was sent back to AirTec and they could not figure it out. It was new and they replaced the unit at no charge. My point is that shit can happen regardless of the brand of electro-mechanical device. I'm going with Vigil because of the same features as a Cypres, and because it has some additional features as well. Even though it was torched in the fire, my Cypres actually started to calibrate when we pushed the button to activate it. It's at AirTec now and if they send it back certified, I'll put it in another rig when I get one.

I can. It was at Perris, probably 3 years ago. I was on the skydive and witnessed the Cypres activate around 5 grand. Do a search here on dz.com if you want. And yes, I have/had a Cypres, (lost in the fire) but am getting a Vigil.

After 124 jumps you came up with that comment? I pay for product and customer service. How many manufacturers have come out to your DZ to see how their gear is doing? And I'm not talking about "demo" days. How about canopy seminars, etc.?
