so you agree the custom cutaway handle is the way to go? not in the context of replacing a mudflap. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

my experience would be that you would not be able to expound on your fondness for the diversity of the phrase "Significant Other". i was actually banned for fourteen days for pointing out that the phrase itself leaves a given individual room for interpretation on what that "Significant Other" might be. the moderator who banned me called it a "personnal attack" when asked for assistance in understanding why some posters can do far worse, yet i cannot express disdain for catch phrase, i was denied any assistance in helping me understand the rules. in retrospect i should have just posted a picture of my bowel movements. nobody ever got banned for that, or perhaps i should have called another user an idiot. i've never heard of anybody being banned for that. definitely DO NOT recommend that a particular religious group particpate in a self-induced high temprature event. that one will get you banned. hope that helps you out there, cupcake. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

??? if a canopy gets sewn to a container while replacing a mudflap, the jumper will definitley notice during gear up. i kinda like the custom cutaway handle idea. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

just another poem: THE MICROCSMS OF THE UNIVERSE He can feel the plane bank as it makes the final turn to jump run such a familiar feeling, yet always unique he's felt it hundreds, thousands of times and every time that it is a mingling of exploration and experience The door opens, the only sensation noticed is the cooling as sweat evaporates from under his clothing the engines' whine and the winds whispering roar are merely the clanck of silverware at a restaraunt the sensation he can't explain, fear and pleasure adrenalin and endorphine in a boxing match logic and insanity the referees The command is given, EXIT EXIT EXIT he climbs out, his teammates right behind him four moving as one, the sum of the parts greater than the whole he knows, "WE own the sky!" He lets go of the floater bar, there it is, that feeling, that rush gravity doesn't lie, and the three who are part of him, who he is a part of would sooner stand in front of a moving freight train than see harm cross his path the universe makes sense but only right now, only in these fleeting moments A demon can enter this microcosm, like any demon it can go by many names murphy, karma, fate, pick one, it's just a rose he uses all his training, all his experience, even his ingenuity but his efforts are to no avail his only satisfaction will be making all the right decisions but still losing there will be no shoulda, woulda, coulda a small victory A five year old boy wakes up and starts jumping up and down on his bed with happy giggles that are the proclamation of joy and innocence the giggles cannot be controlled, they simply exist the universe makes sense but only right now, only in these fleeting moments a demon can enter this microcosm the boy does not yet know he'll never say "daddy what did you bring me?" ever again Time passes, a day, a week, a year, an eternity pick one, it's just a rose three men let go of a floater bar and then a bag of powdery grey memories the universe makes sense but only right now, only in these fleeting moments paul joseph pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

i think you should ask your rigger face to face, and bring your rig with you so he/she can look at it. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

sometimes even that wont work, i was doing gear checks at a boogie once when i came across a rig that had been packed in th u.s. by a friend of mine one week earlier. oddly enough, i was skydiving with my friend the same day as the reserve repack, in Switzerland. that is the only way i could tell it was a forgery, but i could still tell. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

to get skydivers to understand... if you read the first post in this thread, you will see that not every skydiver is fully aware of these facts . i would like you to understand that some of us are trying to explain to others a fact that you already understand. skydiving costs a hell of alot more than twenty dollars a jump. i understand that you are already in touch with that fact. can you understand that others might not be? pulling is cool. keep it in the skin -
so, you are posting this for the sake of those of us who are grieving? that is very nice. thank you. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

well, mimes are not creepy, just annoying. probably due to the fact that most of them are cheese eating surrender-monkeys, or if you want to be P.C. about it, Frogs. carnies can be disgusting, but at least they're not from france and aren't creepy unless you live with them. the ice cream man in my neighborhood was a pretty cool guy, and all the parents knew him, so i can't go for creepy on that one. i pick clowns. i have seen t-shirts with the phrase,"can't sleep... clowns will eat me. can't sleep... clowns will eat me." although the other three can be annoying, i have never seen any references to cannabilism regarding mimes, carnies, or ice cream men. let's face it, cannabilism is just plain creepy. if you had put "packers that haven't been beaten with a crowbar", as an option i probably would have voted differently. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

my wife and i started dating three years ago in August. i had mentioned to her ONCE that i had been in a commercial for see and say toys and she said she remembered the commercial. she had looked online for nostalgia commercials, etc. but never found the one i was in. she decided to call mattel inc. and managed to get a v.p. of advertising on the phone. it took quite a bit of work, but somehow she got someone to find a commercial that was filmed 32 years ago. on my birthday that january, she surprised me with a copy of the commercial i was in, as well as a copy for my dad. and that is an example of the small stuff she does for me. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin

in the last twenty-one years, i have spent a hell of alot more time driving than skydiving. i've been in two accidents on the road. neither one was anywhere close to life threatening and i have never suffered any injuries driving. while skydiving on the other hand, i have bruised my leg from just below my butt to the middle of my calf. in a seperate incident i have gotten my knee to swell to twice it's normal size. then there was the double malfunction that made my teammate cry because he was sure i was dead. i don't know if you've ever landed a double mal(maybe you have, given your username), but there ain't no part of it that is fun, sweetpea. i gotta disagree with ya on this one cupcake, but then again i suppose it is possible you do most of your driving on an active volcano that could erupt at any second. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin -
do any other manufacturers or engineers support the speedbag?

i absolutely love your sig line. why would you say that? i did a search of the thread you referenced and didn't find anything that supported your position. golly, that makes me think. blue stuff, p.j. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin -

darnknit replied to darnknit's topic in Gear and Rigging
you made a claim(on this forum) that other h/c manufacturers support the speedbag. i asked(on this forum) for verification of that claim. i never revealed the content of any PM i recieved. i am not even sure what you are getting at. i am just trying to verify claims made on a public forum. as i have already said in the voodoo vs. mirage thread, i was not able to find anything similar to your claim in any post in the thread you referenced. blue stuff, p.j. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin -

darnknit replied to darnknit's topic in Gear and Rigging
the following quote is from a post in the voodoo vs. mirage thread, not a PM. i started this thread to seek verification of that claim. i do not recall violating any implied confidentiality regarding any PM i have ever recieved. blue stuff, p.j. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin -

darnknit replied to darnknit's topic in Gear and Rigging
i was trying to substantiate a claim made in a different thread. eventually, the answer i got was "i mis-spoke." i'm not anti-Jumpshack, i just want verification when people make certain claims. pulling is cool. keep it in the skin -

darnknit replied to darnknit's topic in Gear and Rigging
doesn't that post include: so there is evidence of bag strip that cannot be substantiated. has anyone concluded that bag strip, or line dump was the cause of the hard opening? if so, who? is this "speedbag-like" bag used by this company you refer to used to get a TSO on a sport skydiving reserve? pulling is cool. keep it in the skin
