    check this out

A few minutes' search found this site and a discussion in the BASE forum a couple years ago about it. Apparently, the game has been a work in progress for quite some time, and nobody knows when it'll be released. Matt
  2. Lew Zealand, the guy with the boomerang fish act. I wish I could figure out how to throw a fish so it returns like a boomerang. That would be so freaking great. Matt
  3. Sorry, no pictures from me... I'll get me one of those new-fangled fancified digital cameras one of these years, promise. Mayberry... I can't believe nobody has yet commented... is that or is that not a sheep as your background picture? Matt
  4. Okay, I was actually getting concerned for a minute there... The wind hasn't slowed at all for several hours; the building is still shaking. And now I've got sleet and freezing rain sticking to everything in sight. Thought I heard a window breaking in the vacant apartment next door, so went to investigate... and it took ten minutes to open my front door because it was frozen shut! All the windows look ok. Not sure what I heard, and it's not worth setting foot outside again. Matt
  5. Once upon a time, li'l ol' me started a thread about the bizarre practice of self-censoring profanity on the forums - s**t and f**k, for example - only to find that the thread mysteriously disappeared overnight. Hmm... Matt
  6. SE Wisconsin, on the lake shore here. I think most of the precipitation is being blown further inland, but it's still very ugly out there. The whole building is shaking from the wind, and the waves are splashing, gradually building up these cool ice sculptures along the shore that had just started to melt in the past week. I'm not going out there. Matt

    Stripper Tryouts

I'm thinking the clothes were part of her problem! Skin grips the pole better; more friction. Matt

    Jpeg attachments

I believe that's not anything special you did, rather just firefox's normal means of displaying a large photo. Matt
  9. Never actually "worked" with autistic people, not in the sense of being employed, but I did grow up with an autistic younger brother. ACME hit all the most important points, I think. This job could be a beautifully life changing experience; what in this world is a better reward for such hard work than close, personal human contact where it seems impossible? That's the payoff, the best possible outcome. On the other hand, do not take this job unless you're prepared for the worst possible scenario: your students will be violent, disgusting, and will never display one iota of appreciation for you or your efforts. Lacking so many communication skills that we take for granted, many autistics never display any clear outward evidence of what they're feeling and learning. My brother is 28 years old, and will always be a child. I love him as intensely as a brother can. In those 28 years, he has let me know precisely three times that he likes me. Three times. Patience. Are you honestly capable of that kind of patience? If so, then you might be able to do some good with the job, and I wish you luck.
  10. Ugh. I could only take a little more than one minute. Matt
  11. Very very wrong. Gilding the lily, and all that. Matt

    juggling 5 balls

It's been awhile since I seriously applied myself to juggling, but I remember spending several weeks, at least a couple of months, of daily practice before I could reliably get 5 catches without dropping anything. I still can't keep the cascade going for more than a few seconds. I think my record is around 45 seconds of the five ball cascade. The cool thing is once you can do five... six isn't that much harder. Flashing six always makes me smile. Always feels like an accomplishment.
  13. Videos of human bodies and the parts thereof in absolutely any state of health, sickness, mutilation, parasitic infestation, etc. can and will be posted. Click on the links at your own risk. Matt
  14. True. The poll also fails to take into account the varying consistencies of crap, and the different wiping techniques they can call for. Matt
  15. Prilosec. Does wonders for the heartburn. Only thing that ever did me any good. Matt
  16. Whoever Chloe is... I'm sure she had it coming. Matt
  17. Buncha fookin' lightweights around here. 224.833 Matt
  18. Not a drinker...but I have twice spent a couple hours postwhoring while under the influence of painkillers and muscle relaxants that my teetotaler body wasn't really prepared for. I noticed the typos, but just didn't give a damn about fixing them or typing slower. Thought they looked funny, so I left them.
  19. Where the hell is KOCO?! I'd like to go there and watch the light aircraft do vertical takeoffs and landings! Matt
  20. Still no shots; still no flu.
  21. I'm certain that there'll be no shortage of volunteers. Matt
