....or to the left of Groucho. "T'was ever thus."
-
It's like karaoke or those funniest home video shows...everybody likes to see people make asses of themselves....just like the Limbeck brothers. "T'was ever thus."
-
Don't forget to replace the starter bumpers and if you disconnect any wires, be sure to bleed-out the air. "T'was ever thus."
-
In essence, it could be robbing ground. It sounds silly, I know....but nowadays, everything is bassackwards. Switches, relays, etc. go to ground, most everything is "hot" at all times. A ground can be robbed by a "bleeding" connection with another component or a shared ground....it's basically the same as robbing power. I've actually only seen the gauge itself, cause this problem once...it's usually in the harness. "T'was ever thus."

Man, ya' can't blame the weed....it's just like alcohol, money and college....it doesn't induce stupidity, it simply enhances it. "T'was ever thus."
-
It may sound odd but I suspect the problem may be in the sending unit, for the fuel gauge. This is rare...especially on a GM but I've seen it happen. Check all the grounds and connectors. Another possibility (as previously mentioned), is the fuel pump itself. Gasoline cools the pump and as the fuel level drops, the pump (if worn) may weaken and won't maintain spec output. Generally, fuel pumps tend to s**t the bed altogether...you don't usually get a "warning by weakening" but it does happen. "T'was ever thus."

I'm not sure if he had the WPA authority, since it was supposedly a "police action". "T'was ever thus."
-
Yeah, I know we've had Presidents take office, during wartime but I'm thinking this is the first "new" President, to be "elected"....not a second term or interim (by death of former) President. "T'was ever thus."
-
Is this the first election, where a new President will take office, instantly wielding the authority of the war powers act? "T'was ever thus."

Alnog with lobbying, I think there are some serious "conflict of interest" issues, with most of our reps. Should any person in a position of power, be ruling on things pertaining to an industry, that they are heavily invested in? Look at Cheney and Haliburton...the gov't. bid system was circumvented, contracts were given out on a seemingly "just send us a bill" basis. If I had somehow circumvented the bid system, while purchasing for the military....they'd be burying my a*s, at Leavenworth. "T'was ever thus."

Yes! Because of myspace, I am in contact with so many old friends who I had lost touch with over the years, and I love it.

What an incredibly stupid post. Absolutely breathtaking. Awww....I thought the "blonde in every pond" line was clever. The Kennedys are likely responsible for far more murders, than the Manson family. As far as parties go....if it doesn't include beer, it isn't a legitimate party! "T'was ever thus."

You don't know your family and relatives phone number or have it next to the phone or programmed into the phone? Fair enough, I just always though that was the norm. I guess not for everybody. No, not for everybody. Some of us just have larger worlds, than others. Here, we marry outside of the family....family sometimes tends to spread out a bit and we don't stay in close touch, with cousins and more distant "family". "T'was ever thus."

I always thought that by allowing lobbying, the gov't. was planting huuuuge corruption seeds....I can't understand how it's been allowed to go on. All we can really hope for, is that the crooks that are currently in office, stay in office....for the sake of justice. I mean, face it....we're over the hump and there's no going back. Thing's will get ugly and honestly, it can't be far off. The ones in office, when it all breaks loose....will be the ones that are drug out and hung from the lightpoles. I'm afraid that assuming "It can't happen here", has simply ensured that it will. "T'was ever thus."
-
I'm a little more worried about you....checkin' out the old guy! Seriously....like Pat said, some of my kids & grandkids are on there, as well as lots of other relatives and friends. It's a lot easier and faster to find someone on Myspace, than to find a phone number....especially, if you don't have an address. I use it primarily as a personal website, to post my jump pics, vids and experiences. I've probably met more skydivers and riders on Myspace, than at the dz or the track. I was leery of gettin' on there, at first but it's been cool, so far. "T'was ever thus."

Cold weather jumping and Saranex suits

Hey look....sperm, on its way to work! "T'was ever thus." -
What it really comes down to, is that for the last 28 years...there's been a "Gomer", in the White House. "T'was ever thus."

Wise....well beyond your years. "T'was ever thus."

Condom!?! Hell, I'm only shootin' dust!! "T'was ever thus."

Watch it.......wisdom and treachery, beats youth & skill....anyday! Awww....rounds are cool, they can open up a whole new world of jumping. -
The "proficiency card" for your A license, is inside and I recommend that you attach it securely to your logbook. There are already some things on it, that you can probably already get signed-off. When you complete one of the required "tasks", be sure to note it in your logbook and ask your instructor, to sign-off on your proficiency card. It'll save a lot of bs, hassle and maybe some needless repetition, when you go for your "A". "T'was ever thus."

We used to have those things (deer) in PA, years ago. Used to be those li'l fuzzy Easter things, too...ya' know, the ones with the long ears. "T'was ever thus."

Almost hit 40 (F), yesterday!

I dunno, man....as much as I don't really care for Fords (especially Rangers), I can say this much....I'd gladly drive that ragged ol' Ranger all the way across Death Valley and without so much as a canteen....before I'd risk my butt by tryin' to drive some newer piece of junk, across the freakin' street! There's a new saying, in the auto industry....."If you're gonna' buy new, ya' better buy two!" That way, ya' got somethin' to drive...while the other is in the shop. It doesn't matter what company it is, quality is NOT job #1, anymore. "T'was ever thus."

Obama worship has echoes of the Third Reich
kschilk replied to vortexring's topic in Speakers Corner
The observation might be even more pertinent, were it applied to the entire country, not just one man or party. Look at the recent "purification" efforts....the "national language" hysteria, the sealing of the borders and the war against immigration, the national ID, increased gun control....aimed at disarming the citizenry, the unmitigated leaps toward autocratic government....not a lot different, than late 30s Germany. No need to worry, though....it can't happen here! "T'was ever thus."
