Awesome site! I had the opportunity to see your kids flying at SVCO in June and was absolutely blown away. They really seemed to fully, fully enjoy it. Less talking, more flying.

I think it largely depends on what you personally want out of the jump. Is skydiving something you've always wanted to get into? Do you want to feel like you've really accomplished something major? Do you have a desire to pursue the sport and to get licensed? If this is the case I would say AFF is probably the way to go. If skydiving is on your "things to do before I die" list, then maybe a tandem is right for you. You won't have to focus so much, and you can sit back and enjoy the experience more so than an AFF dive. It totally depends on what you want out of the experience. Either way it will probably be one of the greatest times of your life! Have you considered heading out to your local DZ before hand to speak with the AFF and tandem instructors? That might be something to consider. Find an instructor that you "click" with and talk to them about it face to face. Less talking, more flying.

Sounds like a cool idea but is the dept. going to be willing to put down that kind of money. You could probably work something out with the tunnel, but it's not going to be cheap.... Less talking, more flying.

So I have an oportunity to work in the adult film industry. Prior to this I have absolutely no experience in this field, but being a poor, open minded college student I think it could be fun. The job is for camera work for a bondage fetish style site, and it pays roughly twice what I am making now. My question here is, would you go for it. I'm not morally against it in any way, I just don't know if it's a good move (for instance telling my gf's dad what it is that I do...). I think it could be pretty fun, and definitely interesting. I first tried it this past autumn and had my mind blown away. After a couple more times I put the stuff away because even though it was good, I just didn't want to do it again, or at least not for the time being. A few months later my brother was in town, and being that he is a hippy, I felt it was my duty to introduce him to salvia. We smoked a bowl and he said the room all of a sudden started to be formed by french soldiers marching in in rows, building the room we were in. I on the other hand had some mild hallucinations looking at a clock. My bro said his trip was every bit as strong, and mind blowing as acid. He was orignally a sceptic, but he was convinced that the stuff really does do wonders. I myself have had a few really awe inspiring trips from salvia including seeing the whole universe around me and the scale of it all while laying in bed, talking to "lady salvia" (a non-physical entity many say they feel a certain connection to while on salvia) in the form of a bump on a blue wall. Salvia can be pretty amazing, but a number of factors have to be just right. I've had it be anywhere from a great trip, to a mild "high" feeling. If you have good salvia, are expecting it to work (not naysaying while its coming on, that will almost always make nothing happen), are in a good mood, in a quiet and dark room, and maybe most importantly are with the right people, you can have some great experiences with it. I've still got an almost full 1g tub of it around somewhere, I might give it a go sometime soon. Less talking, more flying.
