Hurricane season doesn't start till June and even then you don't get into the heaviest part until July or August. Rainy season usually starts mid to late June as well, although you may get some afternoon showers but it won't be anything major. April should be beautiful, so should May.... Note the portion I emphasized. Hybrid jumps are inherently more dangerous than a belly down jump, that's the reason why they are only done by (repeat after me everyone) experienced skydivers. No matter how experienced the TI and the free fliers are, no matter how much you explain the dangers of a hybrid jump to a wuffo they won't comprehend it. The odds of an experienced free flier avoiding serious injury should the hanger have a premature deployment are slim, the odds of a tandem is even lower because they have no manuverability. Add in the drogue chute and possible entanglement with it and the chances of survival become negligable. The only naturals in this sport shit thru feathers...

I've been on a couple loads where someone farted, for the worst Tracey carries a can of air freshener and has used it... One year during a dz Christmas party, one of the "gifts' handed out was a can of air-freshener just for that sort of eventuality, and it was soon mounted in a special pocket, up gainst the aft bulkhed. The following weekend someone cranks a fart out, Newt the pilot yells for the new can of air-freshener, and said air freshener is unholstered and sprayed against the offending odor. "Smell better!?" we yelled forward to Newt. Newt yells back, "Smells like someone farted in a meadow!" Good thing it wasn't pine scented or he'd have said "It smells like someone just shit a Christmas tree"... I don't know what it is she carries on the plane but it kills the odor fast... Doing that on a construction job here in Florida will shut the job down for a week or so until they get more illegals on the job... Likely to get you shot too. I was working on a construction site where Immigration did show up... it was amazing to sit there on the 10th floor and watching the illegals scattering thru the trees as they ran away. I've been following this thread since the beginning and have noticed most of those causing mayhem have all registered here after the original post. It's gone from diseminating useful information and discussing the issues the new dz was having to trolling and name calling. Thus far I've refrained from getting involved in the conversation but I'm afraid I'll have to agree. Time to lock the thread and let the nasties go elsewhere to troll.
