  3. OK This is the third time I TRY to write something here. Everytime I wrote a loooong post and I deleted before posting it. Then went and do the same TRYING to PM NickDG. Wrote a looong PM, and delete before sending it. What Im saying is that I cant find words to express my disappointment. I mean, u guys have discussed this several times before, and you all agreed and know what happened. The BFL stayed... :::BREAK::: Now a girl that doesnt gives a fuck and her husband that cant accept the last entry decided to care......(6 dots) Yea I better stop typing again, cuz Im not here looking for enemies. Im here to filter the good info (and sometimes laugh at the soap opera, i miss magot). The BFL was good info. Had more probablility of doing good to the sport than bikes hitting A's. This sucks. At least I had the chance to read it 1000 times and learnt a little. Not only about death, also about how people lived. Yea but who cares? like sum1 says, this is hopeless. edited the Re: thing, cuz it was not a reply to anyone HISPA #93 DS #419.5

  7. OK, heres MY experience. I am 75% satisfied with costumer service.... My protrack was eating up my batteries in 2 weekends. Unit set at ECO, volume LOW and using the recommended batteries. I emailed L&B and got this: Emailed the US contact, and waited like a month. Emailed them again and got this reply: I sent them the bad unit with the $35 check last week... Its not bad service, but you all been gettin it better. I spent like $65 in batteries and now $35 more. In my case, it was not the "no questions asked and get some free stuff" deal. Anyway, Im satisfied with the product but not 100% with costumer service. You sold me a bad product, you should replace without charging me more, and thats it. Lets see if the return my check.... 14. I can understand why. I hesitated a little to post it and maybe even expecting some flame. -Its too graphic. -Someone died. -Probably someone here was a friend of the deceased or witnesed the accident. -Someone here might even be the owner of the video. Its educational, no doubt. But its something you dont have to actually see it to understand it. If your going towards the ground at 60mph+ and your canopy stops flying at 40'..... Would it be ok to PM the link to someone who asked? HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  15. warning: the usual "might be strong for some audiences" thing... Heres a video of a canopy collapsing near the ground at high speeds. From what I found it was at a NY dz in 2001 during a swooping comp. The accident was fatal. Turbulence off the nearby tree line is believed to have caused the disruption to the canopy. Happened too fast to recover. No time to try anything to re-inflate canopy. edit: remove video, didnt knew HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  16. check out the left riser in the attachment. you can see the thingy that pulls out the reserve... ::::break:::: looks like a un-disconectable rsl. ::::break:::: does anybody knows if its directly connected to a reserve dbag like skyhook? or does it pull a pin and its spring loaded like rsl? ::::break:::: dont feel like waiting till saturday for more knowledge. thanks. edit: bad attachment HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  17. for the list: monkey see/monkey do HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  18. yea, we where "beer talking" But now im curious too. I wont wait till he tells the story again. Ill ask him this weekend. -Someone asked what was the canopy -U wanna know how the reserve was packed -I wanna know when was this and all the altitudes HISPA #93 DS #419.5
  19. I have a friend that jumps a Sorcerer. He told me a story that it saved his life once. Jumping a big terminal A, his canopy ripped or lines snapped or something. He cutaway at 170' (according to a dish on the A) and the reserve was flying like 30' later. I think he still jumping that container. HISPA #93 DS #419.5
