Logic problem alert. Apparently, according to you, anything the Feds do takes an edict from the President. How do you know it took an edict now, but if it had been done earlier it would have been edict-free. That's the ODS part. - Dan G

You realize your post makes no sense, right? "If the Feds wanted to call it Denali it would have already been done..." implies that it is only a problem because it is happening now. What is it about the timing that is a problem? "...without needing an edict handed down from on high." What edict are you talking about? Just because Obama made the annoucement doesn't make it an edict. The change was made by the Interior Department. The President just announced it. It was not an edict. All labor is not equal. If labor has access to legal recourse when they get screwed, you can't pay them pennnies on the dollar. Wages will go up, since many illegals work for less than minimum wage. - Dan G

Have you actually researched where their money comes from, or are you just assuming these things? You are against abortion, but you must realize the best anti-abortion technique is the cheap and easy access to contraception. Your plan would probably result in more abortions, not fewer. Frankly, if you are really anti-abortion you should be advocatingmore funding to PP, not less. - Dan G -

You need to think that through. You acknowlege that abortions are a tiny percentage of their work. Good, many people don't understand that. But you want to take away public funding that helps with the other 97% of what they do. You can't claim that defunding 97% of their operation won't hurt them, or the people they serve. - Dan G -

I don't even know what that means. If there is a "born-alive" infant, then I think the medical professionals have a moral obligation to try and keep it alive. I suspect that the number of "born-alive" infants resulting from abortion procedures is extremely small, if it even happens at all. Anyway, your quote says specifically that chemical abortions are not done if they think they can use the tissue, so it's really a moot point as far as this discussion goes. - Dan G -
