I got 1 in. WhooHoo! Also a first milestone for me, I'm now in the double digits lol, Jump number 10! Also my first line twists... Oh, the irony...Don was like "So, have you had line twists before?" I was all "No.!" (proud mind you), then he promptly replies, "Oh, you'll get 'em." Sure enough about 2 hours later, I got em!

WAY back in the day, Matchbox cars were collectables that came in little boxes. They weren't cheap for what they were. Hot Wheels were a later product that were made to race down plastic tracks. They had wheels/axles that allowed them to coast with little friction. My favorite though, was Motorific ! Damn . . . you must be OLD!!! But that's ok . . . question is do you remember "Stompers" I loved those things. Ahhh, man! Stompers! Loved 'em! Thats when I learned what a AA battery was!

So, here it is a little after midnight just lazing around. We kept hearing sirens, several, and very close together. Didn't really think to much of it until one came zooming down our street. WTF? Went outside to see what was going on and confronted this: (see pics). The sun is going to come up in about 3 hours. Today is forecasted to be 39 degrees (C) with 20 knot easterlies (bad). There was a point where I was pretty sure we were gonna have to evacuate. It was pretty intense standing so close to these huge 30-40 foot flames. Huge embers were everywhere, starting other small fires. Lots of houses near by. We're not totally in the clear yet, I keep peeking outside, but its slowly creepin up on us...Shocked Should probably be ok though.

Its never been about taste for me. The only exception to this rule is the first 1 or 2 'starter' beers/drinks. Once the buzz starts to kick in, it really doesn't matter.
