I'm glad to see that you turned into a sex thread in the first reply! You've got skill and talents like that! And...is gear really a prop? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I'm no better than everyone else. I love props! Doing a jump is cool, but it's fun to throw in a passing of a Barbie doll! Bellydancing is cool, but it's fun to do it with a cane on your head (or, in my teacher's case, a sword.) I don't really understand why props are cool. Obviously, props can't be used all the time otherwise it loses its appeal. My guess is that it's like anything else...variety keeps people interested. However, it's when someone has never seen a skydiver, and you'll hear more "oohs and ahhhs" with someone jumping with smoke than someone just landing. A hot swoop can be just as impressive, but you won't hear any oohs and ahhs. My teacher dances with a sword on her head, which is very difficult. She gets oohs and ahhs. However, some of her most impressive moves she does is without the sword. I think that applies to magicians and jugglers, too. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

My man didn't win?????????????? I'm going to go cry. It's probably because I didn't wear the hat. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I agree completely! We're all guilty of letting stupid crap bother us at some point. I've been trying to limit that in myself more and more, and there are many good things that I've noticed. A person can still be sad, and they can still feel the "negative" emotions. But, when you don't let stupid crap bother you all the time, the things that should actually make you sad seem somehow more genuine or real. There is real sadness. That's okay. It's impossible to get over any real sadness, though, when you're down about everything. We've all had our rough times. Comparing whose life is worse is pointless...it's as pointless as comparing yourself to anyone else as a whole. (This has nothing to do with comparing your diving skills to someone else's as a way to work up to something...it's more about your value as a person.) Okay, I'm done babbling. Great post, Rosa. You are an amazing woman that I'm glad to have as a friend!

I agree! I love dressing up! (Anyone remember me as Jeanie? ) There are some things I would be into (I would love to dress up for "Talk Like A Pirate Day!!!") But, there are some things I wouldn't be into dressing up for (I would NOT make a good Leprachaun...I'm much too tall.) Dressing up does seem like a new fad/trend. That's okay. I don't mind. It'll probably get old, and people won't be dressing up at every boogie. It'll move on to some other fad. Such is life! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

If you don't want drama, don't cause it. It's that simple. A dramatic exit is...well...drama. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I haven't done that in YEARS!!!! Actually, even things like Flippy Cup I haven't done since college. I think most of that stuff is best left for college, but I really do enjoy dancing, and that's why dz parties will never keep up with whuffo parties. I still think spin the bottle is more fun!!! The limbo is pretty fun, too. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Spinning my WHOLE self!!! Flippy Cup is BIG fun...along with Drinko (a version of the Price Is Right Plinko.) I'm always attracted to dzs that have dancing at them. I love dancing and having a good time. That was what was so fun about SDC's Christmas party! We danced our booties off! So, that's my idea to make boogies more fun....good music and people dancing!

PERRIS!!!!! Mmmm..... There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Okay, this is going to start a rant of mine (inspired by my coworker.) WHAT IS NEW IN SEX???? Really....every magazine, book, etc always promises to give you something new, but, really? C'mon now. What's new out there? Besides the bungee swing (which costs big money), it's all just slight variations on what's already known. Where do I find REALLY good stuff at? You know...the stuff I'm not creative enough to come up with? (This is more of a future reference kind of question...I've got no use for it now, unfortunately.) Also, there are some things that I've never done, and I never will (peeing on someone, for example.) But, beyond that kind of stuff, what is there really???? Beer! I just love beer! It tastes yummy. Bells is good stuff. I also really like the Blue UV Vodka. It tastes like Blue Jell-O. I drink it with Sprite or anything else that anyone has laying around. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
