    Women who are attractive have a slight advantage (actually, anyone who is attractive has an advantage). People with money have a slight advantage. People who are really outgoing and friendly have a slight advantage. People who have skydiving parents have a slight advantage. There are people with slight advantages in the sport and in life. It's not really a big deal unless someone exploits it. There is a BEAUTIFUL woman named Kris who jumps frequently at SDC. She is a gorgeous woman, and she is very nice and very cool. Just because she is those things and MAY have had a few advantages (I don't know for sure...she may not have) does NOT change the fact that she can fly circles around most guys.     1.) You will most likely never be told everything you should know. Skydivers do their best in relaying information, but humans are flawed. This really is a "think for yourself" kind of sport. You may be in a sticky situation, even a unique situation, and have not heard how to handle it beforehand. If you can't handle something like that, well, I don't know what to tell you. 2.) The beautiful woman thing is bs. SDC has so many beautiful women at the dz. A few of them could probably make big money modelling. They still take responsibility for themselves. They take themselves seriously, so other people take them seriously. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

    I'm not sure how most straddle benches are done, but when Skydive Indiana used to be open, Dave put straddle benches in the King Air, and they were very lightweight. They weren't made of metal like side benches are. I agree on side benches being uncomfortable. If I can't have a straddle bench, SDCs floor with the mat is the best way to go!
