  1. Woo hoo! Keith's in! It won't be June! I have a niece or nephew due in June! Yeah! How do you think Bob would like it if we all brought a case of beer for our first time on the Price is Right? I bet the audience would love my grippers! "My" freefly suit makes my butt look too big! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  2. Yay! It would rock to have a huge group shouting out the prices of whoever makes it up there (c'mon...if a group of skydivers went...you know they'd pick at least one!) That's be tough for me! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  3. Bytch? Are you gonna cheat your way on down to the contestant's row? No fair!!!! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  4. I don't really know yet. I'm just getting concerned that Bob Barker's run with that show (even though it may have been interrupted) may end soon. His hair is so white! It's always been on my list of "things to do," so I'll regret it if I never do it! Good, I don't feel like such a sicko now! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  5. Has anybody ever been on that show? Since I was a little girl, I've always dreamed to "Come on down!", bet, "1 dollar!" and have Bob Barker kiss me on the cheek. Any tips out there to get me into the contestant's row? I imagine wearing a "Skydive" shirt will be unique and draw attention to me (make me stand out or whatever.) I really wanna go on this show before Bob Barker has a stroke or something! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  6. Ha! That's funny! My brother's dog used to be obsessed with stealing my sister-in-law's underwear. He'd go in and steal it, then run all over the house with her underwear. One time, she caught him, yelled, "Duke! No!" so he swallowed it. They took him to the vet (they didn't think that swallowing underwear was very good for the dog) and they ended up finding a few more pairs of her underwear in his stomach. No socks or anything of my brother's...he just had some weird obsession with her underwear. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  7. I trust that my friends have pretty much done what's shown in the pictures all to themselves without assistance of anyone else. Maybe I need new friends. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  8. My friend Jim inspires me very much with his brutal honesty (he is about the only person I know that truly does speak his mind.) One time in high school, I was yapping about something of zero importance...his words stick with me: "God, Val, just get over it. Who really cares?"
  9. I had cookies with ice cream and hot fudge on top of them on Monday when I was "sick." I feel great now, and I even lost 1 1/2 poinds! Cookies and ice cream are the key to wellness. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  10. Yes, he's filing Chapter 11, not 7. Big difference. Since I'm not going to keep adding on replies...By filing Chapter 11, some may argue that he is on top of his finances, despite the fact that this has been a rough year (like many had mentioned, not just for him.) Some may argue that by filing Chapter 11, he is doing the responsible thing. Filing Chapter 7...well, things have already gone too far at that point. Like I said, I had no intentions of arguing what he meant, but it came across as negative. Some may argue that by filing Chapter 11 he is doing so. 11. Not to fully argue what you meant by this: but most people tend to disbelieve rumors unless proven true. You start a thread in a negative fashion, and then you are actually surprised why people think you're trying to "cause problems"? Also, he is not technically filing for bankruptcy, so this rumor is technically not true. His business still has credit. Huge difference. He's by no means broke. Well, by your standards, shouldn't it be? We are. Both companies still have money and credit and are capable of maintaining their aircraft. That seemed to be a big concern for you. 12. Woo hoo! Congrats, Piriya! Let the spoiling begin! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  13. Nooo...Skymama wouldn't lock this! Thanks for everyone for voting in this very important poll. I'm glad that I've been proven right by the wonderful folks here on dz.com that Miller Light is about the most disgusting thing on the planet. 14. So, I'm sitting around being "sick" today when I ended up getting into huge argument about something very serious: which tastes like crap more...Bud Light or Miller Light? Before we even think about getting rid of weapons of mass destruction, we should get rid of what's truly evil in this world: anything by Miller. 15. Yes, I think the nicest way to tell me I've gotten too fat is, "Wow, you look huge!" Brutal honesty is my friend
  16. I completely agree! If I'm starting to look fat and out of shape, I love it when my friends just flat out tell me. I don't think I look much different whenever I look into a mirror, but when other people have noticed that I had gotten fat, it was a good realization for me that I was eating like absolute crap and watching way too much tv. People only help each other if they're honest! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  17. That was a joke, byt the way! Damn! And I thought I'd have a great opportunity to go off about no personal attacks! I don't doubt that Hussein is evil! That's not what I was saying! I was just saying that it wouldn't be that far-fetched of an idea for the govt to create "sources" or "information". There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  18. Wow! I was just talking about that movie last night! It really wouldn't be too crazy of an idea to get an "Iraqi citizen" to talk about the evils of Saddam. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  19. Hello! Yeah, I don't know much about running, but here's a decent website that freebird recommended to me. I've been following their 5K training program (because I'm weak and that's all I can do), and I also lift weights how they recommend (I think it was 2 sets 15 reps) and my stregth and endurance has improved dramatically. www.runnersworld.com There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  20. Other things that I like to do when I'm not jumping: visiting my family (especially my nephew...man it's fun spoiling him), running (kinda....I'm really bad at it, but I'd like to do a 5K in Sept), volunteering (If there is a God or something like that, then I'm pretty "blessed" or whatever, so I may as well attempt to return that favor), reading (although, exams and stuff take away from my reading time), hanging out with friends, and making out (that really is one of my favorite past times...honestly!) There are some other things that I'd like to do this summer instead of skydiving: traveling to Europe (that definitely won't happen...damn that money thing), white water rafting, take dance lessons again. I started skydiving to gain new experiences, etc etc. I think last summer I somewhat limited my new experiences by only skydiving on the weekends. 21. That's how I'm going to lure unsuspecting freefliers into going with me!
  22. It looks like I'll be heading over to NJ for some fun fun jumps (and, most likely, a very "special" jump
  23. I'm actually kind of curious on people's experiences with getting the pro rating, recommendations, demo jumps they've done, etc. A rumor that I heard (from an extremely reliable source...he is highly experienced with demo jumps) was that a huge F-111 7-cell canopy was ideal for demo jumps. I understand why 7-cell may be more ideal, but I didn't understand why F-111 would be. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Hey, Adam! I'm guessing that you were under one of your parents' health insurance during school, right? If you were, you can usually purchase extended coverage so that you are covered for a few extra months after a recent graduation. (Most insurance companies have something like that since it's somewhat uncommon that recent college grads have a job right out of college that gives them health benefits immediately...I got lucky with mine, though!) Come back to Indiana! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  25. Dave, You need to go have some fun with random make outs in a bar! Seriously, they're the perfect relationships. With every random make out, you get the excitement of a first kiss, you don't have to worry about not getting along (it's rare that you'll argue with someone you've only known a day...not to say I haven't done it...), you don't get that "tied down" feeling. If they're clingy, you don't have to give them your phone number (or even your name for that matter.) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
