Is there a dz.commer you would most like to meet in person?
Vallerina replied to Muenkel's topic in The Bonfire
I think I've met many of the "regular" posters, but there are a few that I still want to meet in person. In no particular order, I want to meet Pammi (again, I only briefly met her in Quincy), Quickdraw, Remster (only if he brings me beer), Freakous, and Emma (she seems really cool.) (I may be wrong) I believe he starts at $200. I got a deal, though There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I remember them saying that and denying me. As in, they called that, I walked up to the smiley face, the guy said, maybe next time. I went up there the next time, guess what he said again? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I had a great time at Deland, and I am not on a team!!! We got there, got all signed in, a very nice gentleman gave us the low down on the dz, I asked about who was load organizing, and they pointed me in the right direction. Andrea showed up later, and we had even more fun! You can chalk it up to being a girl in the sport, but I have been to other dzs that are not as friendly. I was only there for a few jumps, and we didn't hang out there much afterwards, so I guess I don't have all the info on the place, but I enjoyed it! It was tough to decide between ZHills and Deland for the rest of the Florida trip (although, ZHills having the Alloutte made us happy with our decision.) Overall, I liked the Deland. Nice people, nice planes, and they put me on some really good jumps there (I guess jumping with Majick will do that, huh? ) Oh...yeah...one more thing...the guys on Majick were really awesome. Laid-back, fun, helpful, just good guys. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Cool helmet! Rodman did my helmet, too. He's very creative, hilarious, fun to be around, and just an overall good guy. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Jackopierce - they write very meaningful songs. Some of their better songs: Vineyard, Three of Us In a Boat, Ocean, Valencia, Please Come to Boston, Woman as Salvation, Trials, Get To Know Me Better I would say Pat McGee Band, but they got rid of my two favorite guys, so they are no longer one of my favorites. Rusted Root - Ecstacy, Voodoo, Send Me On My Way, Back to the Earth, Faith I Do Believe Rich Hardesty - Never Wanna F***in See You Again! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Well, it looks like we don't actually get this important day off, but my boss is allowing me to play the following song for my fellow coworkers: Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot, Drink up me 'earties, yo ho. Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We extort, we pilfer, we filch, and sack, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We kindle and char, inflame and ignite, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. We burn up the city, we're really a fright, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. We're rascals, scoundrels, villans, and knaves, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. We're devils and black sheep, really bad eggs, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We're beggars and blighters, ne'er-do-well cads, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. Aye, but we're loved by our mommies and dads, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. Yes, I am allowed borrow from my 401K. A little birdie told me I could withdraw from my 401K early if I am purchasing my first house. So, that may be another option. Okay, so I'll stick with that 6 month rule I heard earlier. That answers one question for me! Are they going to tell me to stop wasting so much money? Thanks, Michele. Remi, you're a sicko. Yeah, I won't actually post my salary (not that it's anything to get jealous over, and it's about the expected level for being just 1 year out of college), but I don't really have any living expenses (I live with my parents), I have no idea of when I will buy a house, and I don't have much debt (just a small car payment.) That's also what I want. I don't need to a big, fancy house, but I would like to be able to support myself when I get old! Will do! Well, I knew he wasn't going to be spending it on beer at least, since he will be stealing all of mine in Eloy! (I will remember to surround my beer with angry German Sheppards that I have trained!) Good: My cousin came home from Afghanistan Bad: They will soon ship him to Iraq Good: I start my belly dancing classes tonight. Bad: I'm in a crappy mood and don't feel like going. Good: My meetings were cancelled for today. Bad: They'll just happen some other time. Good: My nephews are the cutest things ever. Bad: I think I completely wasted my summer. Good: I'm out of college and making money. Bad: I still have to study for exams. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Ohh...thank you, Remi! Have I ever told you how sweet you are? Knowing that someone so responsible and caring is taking care of my money is such a comfort for me. And, Phree, shouldn't you be off finding a second job so you can make payments on the damage you did to your car? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Save this much, invest that much, don't put too much in your 401K....I'm going to scream! I'm trying to be responsible. I don't carry much of a balance on my credit cards, and I try to save/invest/etc. I read up about what to do on different websites, and (surprise) they all tell me different things to do. One of my good friends (with a major in Econ) gave me the rule to save up until I can live off of it for 6 months without a job, but I live with my parents, so do I not need to save anything? Really, though, I am somewhat lost when it comes to what to do with my money. I can use my BA-35 and calculate my highest future value, but, unfortunately, my calculator doesn't include a button for how much I should have saved for emergencies. It doesn't have a button telling me where is the best place to put my money so that I don't have ridiculously high costs in taking back out when I want to purchase a house. Here's a quick profile for you: I'm 23, I have a decent amount in mutual funds, I do not have much in savings, I want to buy a house eventually, I will probably have to rent before getting a house, etc. Where the heck should I put my money? I can't put it all in a 401K, because then I won't have enough for a down payment on a house. I have to have some savings, but how much? Sigh....just looking for some answers! My one friend is a zookeeper! She has a lot of fun at her job. It doesn't pay well, though, so it may not pay for enough skydives as you would like. My sister-in-law is a nurse...it's definitely not a boring job. I don't know anyone that does it, but I see it all the time...the people that wash windows for skyscrapers! The sexiest thing ever is to be in an extremely romantic situation with a guy, but still being goofy with him, seeing him laugh, and having a great time. It's fun to feel like your stuck in the middle of a romantic movie setting but not taking everything too seriously....that just ruins all the fun! I like romantic crap...I like going to fancy dinners, nights in the city, fireworks, dancing, etc....I just like it better when there's someone there that doesn't have to act like an adult in those situations! Adding on...It's so sexy to go out, be in a romantic situation, and see a guy laugh, because that's the one of the sexiest things about a guy...his laugh...any kind of laugh...as long as he laughs! It's just so sexy! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I found it while I was drunk, sitting on a hot guy's lap, and inviting lost puppy dogs to the dz. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Whew....I'm glad that the dancing banana still exists out there somewhere. I don't know what I would do if I didn't get to see such a sexy use of flash. Yes! You see where I'm coming from! (Oh wait...is that the whole sarcasm thing you frequently use?) What's wrong with you? When I hear "It's peanut butter jelly time!" I just want to get out of my office chair and dance! Oh my gosh!!! I had to bump this up because I didn't know anyone liked my posts or thought I was interesting! Wait....you're not being sarcastic like the rest of them, are you? I used to love Corona....I think I loved it too much, though, and I can't drink it anymore (puked it numerous times....the last one really did me in, though!) Wow!!! You are way too nice! I rarely get such nice compliments from girls! Thanks! You made my day! And I'm sticking with the oatmeal stout...it has oatmeal in it, so it must be healthy! I'll send you some beer right after I set that webcam back up! Thanks, Piriya! I'll look into that flavanoids thing. I did, too, but I couldn't get into the MSF class! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I'm glad to have a friend who worked in the beer industry! So, if they add oatmeal, that means it's healthier, right? (I'm just looking for an excuse to spend more money buying it...) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Thanks, Andy. Once again, I do not care about calorie content! I don't need to lose weight! Are you people out there calling me fat? Plus, carbs aren't bad for you, so I don't count those either! I've always heard that darker beers were "healthier," but you hear a lot of crazy things. I would love to read the article about Guiness and its vitamins, but I don't think I could drink that still....it tastes like coffee with maple syrup.
