  1. Definitely! I haven't met many famous people, but the other sports people I've come across haven't been the "hang out, have a few beers and chit chat with people at a bar" type. He's really laid-back. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  2. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  3. God, Kev, I thought you got from the Pimp Thread that I am lazy and apathetic!!! Sheesh!!!! You expect me to do things like post links...right! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  4. I met Minnie Minoso last night!!! (More info about him here.) I almost took him out with the bathroom door, so I ended up chatting with him for 20 minutes or so! (I even got an autographed picture!) Yesterday was one of those "Sliding Doors" kind of days. I missed my train by less than a minute (I keep pushing how long I can stay in bed for. I found my limit.) While it annoyed me at the time, I was able to hit some of the more fun bars on the north side by my friend Jenny's place because I drove in and wasn't bound by a silly train schedule. Last night was one of those, "Oh my goodness!!! It's already midnight?!?!?!" kind of nights! Jenny, Holly and I caused MUCH trouble, and I officially grossed out a huge weight-lifting kind of tough-guy! (Hey...it's not my problem he asked what I do for a living! So, I hooked up one friend. Almost hooked up another, and I officially scared many people from out of state! A pretty successful evening if you ask me! "Girls night out" is pretty fun! 5. Does anyone remember my catboat thread? Anyways, my coworker Phil got me addicted to this stupid game online. Now his goal to significantly reduce productivity in our office, and he's introduced the game to several others. About an hour ago Rita, this woman who is the hardest and smartest worker I know, came up to Phil and asked for the website! When the best worker in your department wants to waste time playing Fowl Words, what are people like me supposed to do? Well, time to go drink beer! Bye! 6. But there is a special difference!!! -Skydivers really know how to party!!! Oh wait...the best parties I've gone to have been with whuffos. -Skydivers really know how to live life! Hmmm....some of my friends are living out their dreams (ie being a vet down in the Caribbean), and I'm not. -Whuffos sit on the couch all day! Well, I sit on the couch with them all day during the winter, and during the summer, I don't know because I can never get ahold of them since they're always gone! I don't see much of a difference between jumpers/non-jumpers. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  7. Okay, Bill, I'll play! 1. You are always right when you agree with me! 2. My grandma supports me, and she's always willing to support others! Does that count? 3. Damn! I drive like crap. Supposedly, I should be driving better this November, though. 4. My packer packs my Stiletto great! 5. Cats are tools of the devil. 6. I haven't seen you shake it yet, so I can't determine if you're sexy. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  8. I'm game (I'll have two rigs this weekend, so hopefully I can get a non-big-way jump or two in!) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  9. You'll meet me this weekend, too. I've already met Sunshine, so I can aid you in this process. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  10. WOW!!!! Thanks for sharing the pics! I have a new place on my list of things to see! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  11. Yes, I workout. I run 5 days a week 3 miles each time. Sometimes, I lift weight (twice a week.) I do it because it makes me feel so much better. I also like my increased metabolism. I went today at lunch and I discovered that "Dangerous on the Dance Floor" and "Black Betty (techno remix)" are great songs to run to!!! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  12. Gymanstics...except it's even more flexible in gymnastics. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  13. Then all of my whores would be huge and fat and not get any business!!! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  14. You wear sarcasm well. I would never be a good pimp. I'm too apathetic and lazy! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  15. Yes, I thought about my lovely friends at the dropzone when I saw that one. I busted out laughing when I read, "If your building collapses, give yourself a blowjob while waiting to be rescued." It just makes good sense! I also liked, "Terrorists easily distracted by wet panties. " There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  16. Cool! I'm going to wear a big purple hat with a feather in it. Maybe I'll get a cane, too. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  17. Thanks everyone for the kind words. It's not that my life sucks, but there are times where things just aren't going right. I hate having to always put on a happy face in front of everyone, so when things pile up, I just snap! Also, I am doing much better today since my menstrual hormones have settled down a bit!!! (Actually, that's most of my freaking out...) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

  20. I'm pretty sure there's a ding letter template that they've all been using! "Thank you for your interest in our company...." blah blah blah blah. Did I mention that my previous, INCREDIBLY cool boss is leaving my company???? He was the best boss I've ever had. I don't know if I'll get a boss like him again. He encouraged me to surf the internet when there wasn't much to do. He liked getting the funny websites forwarded to him! Plus, he is incredibly intelligent academically and has common sense. Sigh... 21. Many of us have heard people who aren't ready for a certain canopy say, "I'll be fine because I don't turn low to the ground, and I've stood up all of my landings." Not being fully aware of the risks they are taking with the canopy they want shows that they may not be fully aware of other risks in the sport. I haven't been as selective about people that I jump with as I should be. I'm not talking about jumping with someone who isn't a "good" skydiver...I'm talking about people who aren't "aware" skydivers. Basically, do you jump with someone if you feel that they are being too risky in the air/with their canopy selection/etc? Do you encourage others not to jump with them because they are "dangerous"? My thoughts are that if someone with 100 jumps wants to buy a Stiletto loaded at 1.6 and won't listen to others advice, maybe they'll take that advice if they have no one to jump with? Just a random thought for the day....not sure if it belongs in this forum or not. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

  23. See! And that's why I posted: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1125785#1125785 I was being psychic. And that's why when everything is going great, I'm just pessimistic and wait for it to all go to heck! Nothing can be great all the time. I guess what really sucked is that my brother tends to be someone who is really there for me. He was being such a brat last night, though, and it's very uncharacteristic of him. When my brother isn't there, I really feel like I've got nothing!
  24. Hinckley because EricaH goes there. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  25. Ehhh...it's okay! I'm not feeling bad or anything like that. Life sucks right now, and I just have to try to figure out what I used to do to make myself happy....besides alcohol. I was able to make myself happy while having a crappy bookstore job and making no money. I should be able to while having a crappy insurance job and making money, right?
