I was alone for the first 22 holidays of my life! I don't see a real advantage to having someone for the holidays. I didn't see them anywhere, so here goes! 0:2:1 big case owed for my first jump on my Icon!!! I did two nice freefly jumps (one Jraf was on!) with my brand new Icon. It fits perfectly. It's so much smaller than my last rig! It's going to be a big pain getting the canopy into the bag, though. I have to at least learn how to shove that bad boy in there. I absolutely love my Icon, though, and I'll post pics tomorrow! I learned how to use a unicycle! Really...I did...I'm great at it, too... Thanks to hmatousek and her man for letting us take over the trailer! I also had big fun at an interesting "dinner." Doesn't everyone need 6 different beverages with dinner? eeneR and I solved all of life's problems last night. Overall, a very pleasant weekend!

I went with my nephews, brother and sister-in-law tonight to see "Polar Express." My nephew Robby loved the train, and it was a cute movie. Towards the end of the movie, the elves take the presents in some weird aircraft over towards Santa's sleigh. Then, many of the elves fall out of it, and it looked like they almost formed a 5-way base with zippers tacking onto it. They broke off and opened. It was actually neat to see more than just the typical one person falling and screaming bit. They called the elves the "Flying Elves." There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Extremely well said, Bill. Yes, I am a post whore. Yes, I probably post too much crap (sorry, HH!) Yes, sometimes I write things for a laugh. Yes, I share many inside jokes with many people on here. Many of these people are my friends. This is about the best way to stay in contact with all of those people you only get to see once or twice a year. I probably wouldn't email some of these people everyday on an individual basis, but it's cool that I get to communicate with them everyday because of dz.com. I like that I stay in touch with people better because of it. Yes, you will get "Look at me!" posts. Have you ever been to a dropzone? Haven't you seen the "Look at me!" displays at one? That's why "Bonfire" is the perfect name for this place. There are lots of people chatting about past memories, and there are lots of people wanting attention (and, the attention cries have really decreased, imo.) Personally, I've never "felt out" of anything here. Maybe it's because I'm "in," but I think it's more due to the fact that there are people that I like, and I communicate with them. If there are people I don't like or don't know, it doesn't affect me if I'm not communicating with them. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

So, am I only allowed to call things crap if they're unpopular? Many of us believe that two men not being able to get married is crap, and the basis of it is crap. Some people have beliefs that they shouldn't get married. Should I not call what I think of as crap as such??? I guess I just don't really get all that offended if people call my beliefs crap.
