Ya my boss knows I get my work done. So he allows me little perks like surfing DZ.com and other non-work related content. He'll let me slide in and out 20 mins or so. My biggest complaint is the fact I have to occupy this chair 8 to 9 hours a day. Granted I'm in a manufacturing environment. But, it's not assembly line work. We build specialty pipe inspection equipment for steel mills. There were rumblings a few years back about switching to 4 10s and such. Giving some flextime bonuses. Nothing ever came from it because the HR Mgr got fired. Go figure. How the hell is that gonna work? Very good points. About the work/play scenario. I'm also very curious how it's going to work into their retail environment. Specially during the holidays and busy times of year. Let's say I'm a cashier and know it's going to be murder on a Saturday afternoon during Christmas holiday. Along with all the other cashiers. So we all decide to leave at 2pm.. The bedlam it would cause would be enough to start a reality show over. I guess I'm pretty bitter living on one side of the tracks but being bussed to the other for school. So I've seen both sides. I'm just a bit jaded with people who've got money and an ego to match. No it's looked down upon here as well. The rich get richer on the backs of the poor. Seriously. What I think you're referring to is called an "infomercial" and they do nothing except fleece your wallet and make the pitch man rich. The pitch man didn't make his money in cars, property or some financial secret on the market. He got his cash by telling you he's rich because of those things. People believe him and give them their money for the secrets. IF you actually find someone who's self made, not egotistical and willing to share their information for free. You're pretty lucky. I was born poor and I'll die poor. end of story. I've printed this thread and started looking for my 10yr He is just getting into reading (sort of) and I think if I can keep his interest up it will lead to nothing but good things. This is no joke. Jack in The Box tacos can cure all. I'm so hungover this morning. So I knew I needed grease to help combat the rumblings in my tummy. I figured some JiTB tacos... I've only ate 2 so far of the 4 I bought and I feel surprisingly better. They're pretty healthy too, you get: 1 part dairy (cheese) 1 part protein (mystery meat) 2 parts fibre (lettuce & corn tortilla) 1 part - not sure but it's the mystery sauce So all in all you could live on JiTB tacos.
