  1. In other words, free speech means you can say anything you like until a veteran disagrees with you. Yes, now that you mention it I DO remember reading that in the constitution. its more like: Free speech means you can say anything you like until you protest at a veterans funeral and get all of your limbs broken by pissed off veterans who just lost a good friend.
  2. You're pissing me off! Remember, all those people shoot back. You don't really own guns, do you? I hope not. I have enough ammo, food, fortified positions and potential hostages to hold up for at least 3 months. Unless they cut the power off. I cant miss The Shield on tuesday night.
  3. No, the time for intervention was earlier. Now innocent people are dead because you took a pass on honor. ah and out come the bleeding hearts... They even come out when there is no reason to... Peta needs you. Leave me alone. It was a joke you know. But as long as we are on the subject.. If one of the innocents were you... ah nevermind.. You get the picture.
  4. Not only would killing the people that piss us off make us feel better; it would also make the world a better place. Death is quite a deterent from pissing someone off. Everyone would be much nicer. The concept of sharing would still exsist. think about it... if you were thinking "Dude, if im not nice to everyone, i will be killed." what would you do? Dont thank me for the idea... I'm just paying it forward.
  5. Catch that red light because the guy in front of you stopped while it was still yellow?? Bullet in the head. Some guy at lunch take the last piece of cornbread you were going to have with your cornbeef and cabbage? Decapitation.
  6. I respect your view Bill.. We just differ. I didnt mean to hijack the thread.
  7. I disagree... The hard man... The killing man is the reason you have rights today and will continue to have those rights. That mentality is respectable but it belongs in church or a youth development program.
  8. If my buddy flipped out and killed a bunch of people for no reason... well, its time for an intervention...
  9. Thats tough because unfortunately loyalty to comrades and honor are really only instilled in tight knit units... BUT, If one of my buddies were involved in torturing an enemy of the united states or a soldier that may have hurt one of my buddies or innocent people then there is no way in hell I would give him or them up just to get raped by the media so they can sell advertising.
  10. I wasnt explaining an after party of a high school football game. Its not about peer pressure.. Its about honor... I guess this goes back to most people not understanding the bond. Its cool. I wont try to explain any further.
  11. So when you swore to defend the Constitution, you didn't really mean it. this statement is comical to me... It seems most people dont realize after you are in that sort of brotherhood.. Doing extraordinary things in shitty situations..that it becomes more about the guys around you than the rules or the establishment. Which is truly a great thing... The average person will never know that sort of bond. He can defend the constitution and answer to it at the same time... there is no hypocrisy here. on a personal note.. Fuck yeah I'd do some jail time to hurt the people that were disrespecting my brother in arms or family member....
  12. this reminds me of: "Whats the number to 911?"
  13. The guy that picks up and drops off port-a-johns
  14. Not that way anymore. We're at the beginning of the pack on the runs and do every bit of PT the males do. If you fall out, you're out of the school. They push the females through that fall out of the runs if they dont meet their quota for that graduating class. I remember pretty much every day the same 4-5 females would fall out... They all were at graduation... One was an honor grad... go figure..
  15. Only thing I would want to comment about is the 4000 jumps and 1 cutaway.. Thats friggin awesome.
  16. I know this thread has been dead a long time but it this quote is just to good and to relevant especially this time of year when everyone is getting ready for the season.
  17. doesnt matter. As far as the interview goes.. Just go in there and be yourself... Have the attitude that they would be lucky to have you working for them.. Not the other way around.
  18. At 12 jumps is it possible to have any ability other than jump and not die? If it is possible maybe I should have learned somewhere other than the AZTC in Eloy because I'm way behind.. By now I should have my head down transitions perfected and be able to turf surf 1000 feet.......
  19. Why? Because they fall out of a 17 or 130 and then do the same damn thing everyone else does on the ground? wow.... I'm done with this thread... The same thing... Right.
  20. someday you'll realize that it's all the same bs, you just took it way more seriously than everyone else. You are right, its all the same BS... I guess you could call a few battalions from the 422nd logistics division and have them team up with Headquarters company 187th Admin to take an airfield anywhere in the world within 18 hours.
  21. you also forgot all the happy airborne cadences. i know you're being facetious, but that is exactly the point. besides, unit assignments are just that... assignments. you don't get to pick what unit you get assigned to. Yes you can and you do.. You have to volunteer for the airborne... You can choose if you go to the 82nd or not. You can choose if you go to RIP and go to a ranger bat... You choose if you go to selection for SF. You cant choose what battalion or anything like that but you choose if you go to division. The airborne train and work harder than leg units... its a fact... the airborne are considered elite... so yes, they get more respect than your average truck driver.
