i think a lot of people are getting their sky fix from local FB groups. Both my local dzs have fb fun jumper groups that create a low level of constant traffic. The groups are have become necessary / best way to share DZ news / events, and then also have become a microcosm of DZ.com, with incident discussion, gear discussion, misc bonfire shit, and even some politics.

we both liked the show. we like the complicated character action-y dramas, like Breaking Bad, Ozark, Fargo so it fit that bill. I think we will try Season 2.

(spoiler alert season 1): i gotta say Jerry: that ended pretty darkly. in fact about a dark an ending as I can remember a tv show having. is that a consistent hallmark of the rest of the seasons? don't want details, but the wife is not interested it watching if the other seasons follow a similar pattern.

This thread ended up sending me down a memory lane rabbit hole last night. I don't really have a wall of fame, but if I did I figure it would have categories: things i made, either professional or personal, physical things i did, places i have been, and things I have acquired. a professional thing i made that i will always be proud of is the traffic management software that keeps robots from running into each other. 20 years of operation it backs probably 200-300 million dollars of robot systems. I guess I could post a screenshot of a bunch of robots driving around. a personal thing I made is our platform bed. Cherry and maple. Live edge headboard. I hiked 60 miles of the JMT a few years ago, that was a nice physical and travel accomplishment. also a few years ago I rode my bike from Miami to Key West, about 180 miles as I rode it. One my longer rides and felt good since I did most of it solo / self supported.

USPA Survey E (Expert) License Question

I wondered what an E-rating would get you. Normally by the time you have that much into the sport, the people who would want/need to know already know. Maybe if you showed up at some boogie and wanted to pitch in and L.O. or give some advice you may get into an dick measuring contest and could say "excuse me while I whip this out" and pull out the E-License and shut up all the 500 jump wonders. Shrug. I don't really see it, but I'm not up in that rarefied air. Calling it "expert" and being more than "master" would be weird though. Maybe cause my dad was career Navy, but to me master is the top. -

google shopping brought up a link to a piece of electronics that was sold on alibaba. I looked it over and as much as i could tell it seemed legit. yeah caveat emptor. I tried to buy it, but alibaba seems to be set to Business 2 Business not to individuals. My CC got rejected not sure if by alibaba or my own bank. Anyway, does anyone here have a story about buying something and getting it? (alibaba, not aliexpress)

a lot of credit to the bucs pass rush. I knew KC was in trouble when the Bucs pressured Aaron Rodgers as much as they did, and Green Bay has one of the best O-Lines in the game. With KCs beat up line it was going to be tough.
