  1. We had a debate the other day at the firehouse. Was "About Last Night" a chick flick? I say no because of all of the Demi naked shots and the male point of view. What a classic! And Porky's is the funniest movie of that era. The principal's office with Ms. Ballbricker describing the tallywhacker, priceless. Fletch Weird Science
  2. When Michael Moore did the same thing with GWB's "old pals" he was lambasted here for it. You can take anyone and make them look like the greatest person in the world or a scum bag, ala "60 Minutes" style. Pick a President from the past 50 years, you could make any of them look genius or terrifying. The proof will be in the pudding after 4 years as POTUS. It's as simple as that...
  3. How does hving been there make anyone more educated on how the buildings collapsed than anyone else? You want to subject me to to emotional side of the story that was the driving force behind the false reaction that was the iraq war? What about the families and firefighters that wan't another invesigation? You are pretty one sided if you think all the FDNY guys are happy with how the disaster was dealt with. Did I say I was going to subject you to the "emotional side"? What does the Iraq war have to do with it? I'm one sided because I think the FDNY is happy with the investigation? Putting a lot of words in my mouth there rhys. I just invited you to come have a serious discussion with men that were there, that know a bit about buildings on fire and collapses. You are convinced of a conspiracy. Step out from behind your computer and have a real debate. With real men. That were really there.
  4. We can debate it all day long here. I just want to sit you down with some of the guys that were there that day. Drive on down I-5 next year. About 20 FDNY guys will be at my house in February. Bring some study materials, I'll provide lunch.
  5. Thanks DSE, will do. Hope you are feeling well.
  6. Not to give to the TV shows or youtube. I am in charge of Skydive Perris' emergency response and will be training the local fire department, ambulance company and air ambulance company about skydiving related injuries. We are coordinating a more efficient response and care system. The problem I have is that the emergency personnel think every accident is a parachute not opening. I used to have a great VHS tape(I'm old) that had real incident two out, hook turns and canopy collisions on it. I used it to train the Eloy FD about 16 years ago and can't find it anywhere. It was a great training aid to explain the "mechanism of injury" to whuffos. If you have some recorded incidents and would like to help out please pm me. I am trying to get this done before Jump for the Cause and POPS in Sept. I promise none of your material will be seen on TV or the web. Thanks, Rich Grimm
  7. I think you're confusing Rookie with rhys, aren't you? Nope. I was just letting him, and you guys know that rhys still hasn't phoned me to discuss the issues.
  8. I'm still waiting for my phone to ring. Just what I thought. Too chicken to debate the facts in person...
  9. rhys, I just completed my 30th year as a full time firefighter. I will sit down with you any time, anywhere, to discuss the entire event with you. I'll even bring along a few of my FDNY pals that were there that day and about 100 friends that were on the "pile" for weeks digging. We can cover building collapse, fire behavior, load bearing walls, etc. I'll bring the FDNY log of events. It covers every single collapse with photos, lots of them too. I was on duty here in California the morning of September 11th. All sixteen of us (it was shift change) were worried both towers were going to collapse. Name the place and time, call me...
  10. Ask him what street Danny's and McP's are on. My wife is a Deputy DA. A guy at her office told great SEAL stories for years, even giving office wide speeches on teamwork, etc. A retired Navy Admiral was hired as a DA and exposed the guy as a fraud over the course of a few months. I guess it wasn't pretty. The lying bastard is a Public Defender now, go figure...
  11. Pure Sickness!! It's wonderful to see jumping taken to such amazing levels! Great job boys and girls!!!! Looking forward to the 200 way photos in the future!!!
  12. Hmmm... I'm torn between Dr. Phil and Oprah. Can I pick two?

  17. The gravitational pull on your wallet will be very severe, about 7 G's or so...
  18. Congrats, now try to get a 141 for students! F'n FAA!
  19. Lil' Abners Steak House in Marana. If they go to Phoenix I highly recommend this place... http://www.hallofflame.org/ And in San Diego the USS Midway aircraft carrier is a great sight. And then they can come by my house and have lunch with one of your hippy skydiving pals. And if they like to hike I recommend a trip up Picacho Peak by Eloy.
  20. The Pens and Wings have played more hockey in the past two years than any other teams in the NHL. I wonder what toll that will take on them at the start of the season?
  21. That's it Fred? Water jumps is our only update? What LZ are we going to have this year? Is a helicopter coming for jumps? Who is doing the food? Any new LO's? Skyvan or no Skyvan?
  22. I question your claim of universal acceptance of this as humor. Prove it. BTW, while some may think Larry the Cable guy is funny, I'm not so sure hack paraphrasing of his bits is. Who's Larry the Cable Guy??????
  23. Oh puleese Quade, That was some funny stuff for the SC. I don't care who you vote for, that's good humored politics.
