I was working out at the FD the other morning and a P90X fitness commercial came on the gym TV. I tell the rookie I'm working with that all you need to do is 500 push ups, sit ups and pull ups a day like Herschel Walker used to back in the day. He looks at me with a blank stare and says, "Who's Herschel Walker"? Nothing like kids at work that weren't even born when I was hired being the Chiefs now!!!!

Hey SoCal peeps! On February 6th, 2pm, our Ontario, Calif. FD team is taking on the FDNY team at Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario. A $10 ticket gets our game AND the Ontario Reign/Stockton Thunder game at 7pm. $4 from each ticket is donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I put ESPN on. No headlines except that Mike Shanahan is coaching the Redskins and Randy Johnson retired, what no hockey...pitifull! We had the game on the NHL network here in the US. I wish I could have seen the game on TSN instead. Everyone in Canada is sad tonight. A handfull of Yanks are happy. Such different perspectives, Eh! And the Latvian team represents what sport is all about. So now we can battle in Vancouver next month! I'll be in Belize with a bunch of Canadians watching the Olympics. Damn I'll be so outnumbered!!!!

I was thinking the very same thing when I saw the ad Sparky. My 1980 log book looks nearly identical! I wore my old Pioneer jump suit with the double front zippers last Friday at Perris. All the freefly kids wanted one!

With the tumbling economy in Dubai this will end up being an empty shell. They will have to let us jump it! p.s. It's already being worked out to have a BASE event there sometime soon. I hope it becomes reality.
