Go slow. You have a good job now, so go get some experience just jumping for yourself. Doing a couple of hundred jumps at the same DZ isn't going to get you much overall knowledge. Some nice, wide open, warm weather DZ is great, but, go find yourself over a big hill looking for a fire road to land on, or an apple orchard to land in. Get on a team, learn to free fly, go to some boogies. Start by load organizing after you get a few hundred jumps, if that doesn't kill you, it will make you a better coach. The more the experiences, the better the instructor. JMHO Most tandem ops want 500 tandems minimum and handcam experience these days. Relax, the sky will be around a very long time. Give it about 3years and you'll be there. Have fun on the journey.

Hey, I'm a fat ass guy that flys a Katana 120 loaded at 1.8. Watch it bub! I would get a quick right or left on opening once in a while when I first got it about 5 years ago. I messed around with the packing stows a bit and now tighten them around the lines just enough to not get line dump. It seems to have worked and I love the openings for my old guy back.

MAF put on a mask, his six shooters and strolled in and robbed the Bank of Montreal tonight! He gave Halak a dose of his own medicine. Incredible saves. Fun game to watch. That Subban kid is a star in the making!

Some bad calls for sure, but over all I think the NHL refs do a better job than other sport leagues. JMHO

Bill, Sometimes when the winds are light and variable, like a usual afternoon in Perris with windsocks fluttering in 4 different directions, there are jumpers that won't land in a 3-5kt downwind. Instead they hook it last minute or go opposing traffic. Sometimes windsocks are the enemy to safety. And I agree with my late pal Harry. I always say.. "It's better to walk 50 yards than get helicoptered 50 miles"
