I say with all enthusiasm let the market set the rate. I pay $5. if I found someone doing it for $4.50 and they were competent they would get my business. My packers usually get fed really good at times when I 'm cooking, and drinks when I'm mixing. The reasons I use a packer are irrelevant, some of us kind of need to to make it through the day. Well I have been spending my time reading through this thread and something occurred to me. It has taken me twenty-something years to be known everywhere I go as Rainbo. People trust my word because they know me. They trust my abilities because they know them. I trust others because I know them. Most do not know my real name, really. I say this because there is a lesson buried in there somewhere. It is not about what others say about you, it is what they know about you from experience, and you of them likewise. How you present yourself to those around you means more than all of the vouchers and verifications. People here often take a position that their opinion is almighty and all others suck. Then they wonder why they are not thought highly of. I do not think Sangiro needs to spend more time and money to devise ways to give us authenticity. I develop that in other arenas,more high speed than my keyboard. I think we need to learn how to treat each other more like human beings deserving of respect. In '85 at the Freakbrothers Convention in Freeport I learned a valuable lesson. It is called Pungi Grass. This is grass that is mowed a couple of days before the boogie arrives. Maybe mowed once in the rest of the preceeding season. Makes for very thick rigid stems a couple of inches long. I and some old skydiving buddies of mine owned seven bungee operations around the country back in 91-93. We were the first group to actually get insurance for our operations. Had a lot of fun with it while it was running and got to make lots of jumps. It was a natural diversion from getting burned out on skydiving...but that did not last to long either. gotta agree. On the invisible fence topic, They do work, but it really depends on what brand also. The one I used had a variable depth feature. If the width of the shock zone is only a few feet the dog will learn to run through. when you start turn the width of the shock zone up to 10 feet each side of the wire. I guarantee you that the dog will not go through. As they learn the zone you can adjust the width down to a couple of feet. They need to learn to associate both the tone on the collar and the pain with their boundary. Most of the time I did not even need to have my fence activated for the dog to know not to cross.
