I wish the US had the rail infrastructure that Europe/the UK has...I personally hate driving. This is why I want to move to a city center (me and the blonde Chick haven't decided btw Chicago, Boston, or NYC) where there is a strong rail system. Hell, even Chicago has a lousy system--80% of the busses and all but two rail lines close at night, and the commuter rail sucks, as you have to fight traffic to get to the station... Illinois needs a CCW Law. NOW.

So I'm volunteering at the local animal shelter one evening a week. I get to play with the kittens to socialize them. I love that the nasal sprays have quelled my allergies. And I'm sure my liver is glad I don't pop benadryl like candy... Anyone else have shelter volunteer tips? Illinois needs a CCW Law. NOW.

Good movie. Great effects. The language (Aramaic, Hebrew) was distracting, but the Italian (Latin?) was understandable [/spanish speaker & Catholic School Survivor] Very brutal. That being said, the History Channel has the 1977 Mini series "Jesus of Nazareth" playing. Hard to understand how such a beautiful chain of events has spawned some of the people who hate in God's name (i.e. Fred Phelps, Pat Robertson, Pat Buchanan, et al). I've yet to find a preacher who's not trying to pick my pocket or go "hellfire and brimstone" on me. Both tactics make me want to sleep until noon on Sundays, or go to the "Church of the Rising Twin Otter." Anyhow, it's a very good depiction of the Gospels. Blessed Easter. Illinois needs a CCW Law.
