    Sunglasses

I was asking Steve about this very thing this morning, but he thought I was high or something j/k.Square 1 Rocks!!! Thanks for hooking me up guys, I just ordered a pair of the blue and clear lenses. I've always hated how I looked when I had my goggles and my bone head on, the two make me look like an alien with downs syndrum (sp?) Base # 942 The race is long and in the end, its only with yourself.
  2. I just received my two-piece freefly suit and I absolutely love it!! The customer service I received was awesome, a totally positive experience. The two piece suit is a really cool design, it lets you decide whether or not you want to wear the jacket on hot days and you can take the jacket off when your packing too. Another nice thing about the two-piece suit is that you can kind of customize the suit to fit the dive that you're doing. A lot of people have asked me if I've ever had any problems with the jacket staying in place and so far I've had no problems, it is rock solid. Overall an awesome suit, I highly recommend it to anyone who skydives in hot climates.
  3. With all the law suit happy people out there I was curious what riggers do about legal liability. Do any lofts have a liability waiver or does the FAA cover it? I know that you're always responsible for your work and that a riggers goal is perfection, but I'm sure that some lawsuit happy relative of a deceased skydiver would be able to put together a lawsuit against a rigger even if the rig was packed according to manufactures recommendations. So what do riggers do to cover their behinds? Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.
  4. I talked to my rigger last weekend and he is going to look at it and pack it for me. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.
  5. I demoed a Spectre 150 in Perris and put about 15 jumps on it and I remember how awesome the openings were. I could trash pack it and it would still open nice and slow and on heading, which is one of the main reasons why I bought it. I've got back issues because I was born with an extra vertebra so fast openings are very bad. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.
  6. I recently bought a new Spectre 150 and since then I've put about 20 jumps on it. For some reason no matter what I do to it, it likes to open fast. I've tried everything except psycho packing it. Any ideas? PS: I'm almost positive that its not body position. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.
  7. I'm planning on being there. I should hit jump 100 that weekend too, it just so happens that I'll probably hit jump 100 on my birthday too, April 28th. I'll be 20, damn, since I'm not going to be a teenager anymore now what's my excuse going to be? Hmmm.... Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.
  8. Cool, thanks, I'll give it a try this weekend. I had hoped to try to use it to help my docking, but I'll have to get really used to it before I try to use it to dock since it sounds like it will be really easy to cork. Thanks again!! 9. If the risers that I have on my rig don't meet the requirements is it possible to use a different companies risers as a replacement without causing a safety hazard? I would think that a different riser could cause riser flaps to become more prone to opening in freefall and maybe even catch on the bottom of the reserve. 10. How do you side slide a sit?? Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.

  13. This just happened to me this weekend. I have a Talon 2 w/ velcroless toggles and as stated earlier one of the brake stows slipped over the place you tie off the brake to the toggle and jammed. I tried to release both toggles and only released one so my canopy started to spin. I looked at it for a second or two and tried to fix it while it was spinning, but I was unable to fix it so I countered the spin by pulling down on the opposite riser until it flew straight. Landed a left hand pattern by letting up on the riser that didn't have the stuck toggle and landed by flaring using the rear risers. It felt really weird because when I flared I already had one riser partially pulled down, but I landed standing up, I love my Spectre. My canopy is only loaded at 1.2 so its still pretty tame, but had it been a heavier loaded canopy I probably would have chopped it. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. 15. Hoodoo, what about a Voodoo?? If you like your Talon 2 then you'll like the Voodoo b/c its basically a Talon 2 with a few mods to make it more freefly friendly. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.

  22. Just for arguments sake... Do you really think that law enforcement wouldn't be able to make the connection between a really big antienna and BASE Jumping? But, I guess its better to be safe than sorry. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.
