At $2.50 for a new pin (Q1 from Para Gear) and $12.50 for rigging (at $50/hour billed to the nearest 15 minute increment) I'd have a new closing pin sewn on if I didn't just take it to a buffing wheel with a little polishing compound (maybe Novus #3) When I firrst saw the article, I thought "Para Commander" and would have said "Jump it!" I was able to sit down and talk with Tony when I had my suit made for me. My jumpsuit has a liner in the arms to create more drag as well as the ballistic material on the booties. Both O'Hare and Daloia had been charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, forgery, attempted petit larceny and improper disposal of a body. The judge swept away the charges in part because a coroner's report was inconclusive about the time of death, so there was a reasonable doubt as to whether the roommate was still alive. A prosecutor told the judge that an autopsy concluded only that Cintron had been dead for less than 24 hours, and had died of natural causes related to Parkinson's disease. O'Hare and Daloia told authorities that they routinely cashed Cintron's checks, with his permission, to help pay for shared household expenses.
