Ya know what really sucks is when you are medical personel on vacation and you get that call from the flight attendant "do we have any medically trained personel on the plane?" I have worked on two people in the last 2 years in flight and it forking blows!

TK you do bring up some very good points. When we examine the two incidents that spurred this thread you can consider that these two people were very experiances skydivers who, "Knew what they were doing." According to many sources. Which brings us back to the addage that new skydivers get injured because they do not know what they are doing, and experianced skydivers get injured because they think they know what they are doing. Instead of making standards for canopy piloting perhaps more jumpers should try to get the canopy control courses hosted by their local DZ. I for one would love to take either the Scott Miller course, or the Brian Germain Course. Unfortunatly I would need to go away to a DZ that is hosting the event. because skydiving actualy is a challenge for me. Each time I jump I feel the kind of accomplishment that I have never felt before. A lot of learned things have just come naturally to me. I live in the boondocks, so if there is an all out zombie infection it will take them a long time to get to me. I also have a bunch of people with firearms for support. Plus I have swords. I briefly met Johnny last year at the Muff Brother Reuninon AS a matter of fact I graduated my AFF that Saturday, and learned a very important lession Free drinks have their own price...that sunday was beautiful, but enough about that.
