  1. Come on, Kev... you know what Kerry was doing with his comments in his speech. If it were something said here, it'd be one of those "borderline" personal attacks. Wrong, if you've paid attention to pretty much any left sided attacks on GWB, you can pretty much guess what they're bitching about, and Kerry's statement pretty much sums it up. But of course, he wasn't talking about GWB since he never said his name. I think it's a pretty moronic thing to do on Kerry's part to call for a civil campaign on the issues, then throw in some jabs like that. Any good debater knows that he should have said what he WILL do, instead of what he WOULDN'T do... but that's the Dem party line this year... "anyone but Bush!". Oh, hello again!
  2. Yeah, but fuck 'em if they're offended by those things... Osama killed thousands... and not just in the US. There is a difference... if you can't see it... well... sorry. Oh, hello again!
  3. www.strategypage.com listed this as close air support in Fallujah. Oh, hello again!
  4. Just to no one in particular... how can anyone, democrat or republican take any convention seriously when they have someone like Al Sharpton speak??? This guy should be in prison, and like Mikey Moore, is only about self promotion and keeping people pissed to stay in the news. It just makes it hard to listen when you see people's reactions to Al at the convention... kinda reminded me of the glassy-eyed people at the evangelical, let-snakes-bite-you-and-speak-in-tongues churches. Oh, hello again!
  5. It'd be hard to do since they're being sold in the ME. I just thought people would be interested to see how "heros" are celibrated to the children in the ME. Oh, hello again!
  6. The latest rage in the peace-loving mid-east marketplace. I'm not sayin'.... I'm just sayin'.... Oh, hello again!
  7. That's training. It does get hard sometimes and it gets very frustrating when you're not doing something right. You've just got to balance things out... if one routine isn't going well that day, practice speed rounds. If everyone's having a bad day, go do some fun jumps, organize, or take a day off. Also, don't be afraid to scrap a move that just isn't working... some of our best moves have come from others that we couldn't get right. But... at the end of competition, there's nothing better than saying "We just had the 7 best jumps of our season, and it was in competition!" Seriously. Oh, hello again!
  8. Oh come on... that's stretching it. You just make fun because he's worse at conning people than the dems are! Oh, hello again!
  9. My reply was to this: I don't think that either party is for or against minorities. I think they're out for themselves. The dems just do better at kissing as much minority ass as they can. I don't think they really help them as opposed to giving lip service to get votes. Kev, did you just bring up GWB in the middle of a conversation about something else? Don't you always complain when people bring up clinton/blowjob/kerry sucks in unrelated arguments instead of dealing with the conversation at hand? Come now... you're a better debater than that! (I just had to do it, Kev... you know I did) Oh, hello again!
  10. Or which people are being conned and coddled by which party. You accuse the republican voters of being fooled by GWB all the time, is it such a stretch to think that the dems are fooling people? Oh, hello again!
  11. yeah, yeah... affirmative action speaks louder than words.... you got it! Oh, hello again!
  12. Hey, let's call Spiderman2 a non-fiction film too!! Wow, look how great it did for a non-fiction piece!! What do you mean it was fiction? New York exists, so does the Hudson river... both were in the film... it MUST be a documentary! Oh, hello again!
  13. Do you really need to SAY something to say it? Like if I were to say that MM's production company MAY be dealing with Hezbollah to get the film promoted in the mid-east... did I actually say he WAS doing it? Or just imply in no uncertain terms that something's up? If it isn't true, is it libel? So intent doesn't actually have any bearing I guess. You and I both know what MM is saying by not saying something... the only thing he does is just enough to keep his ass from being sued. But to argue that he didn't mean to imply something, you'd be nuts. Oh, hello again!
  14. li·bel ( P ) Pronunciation Key (lbl) n. - A false publication, as in writing, print, signs, or pictures, that damages a person's reputation. - The act of presenting such material to the public. -The written claims presented by a plaintiff in an action at admiralty law or to an ecclesiastical court. Maybe a lawyer could answer that question, but I think it's hard to sue for libel in a lot of cases. Or maybe it's just not worth it since so many people already know he's full of caca. Oh, hello again!
  15. I'll answer this one just because I can... Yes It sure did. That's not what people are talking about when people say the movie is full of shit though. It looked to me like he was kinda shocked and was thinking about what to do. He could have excused himself, he could have run out of the room, but he didn't. I wonder what the presidential reaction to Pearl Harbor was the moment it happened? That is such a stupid thing to pick at. Name any big oil person or company that doesn't have ties to Saudi Arabia and/or the Bin Laden family companies. They looked real, but I bet that some of those interviews were done under false pretenses or edited. I also doubt that the Iraq (kite-flying) pre-invasion was all happy and peaceful like MM portrayed it. He did say it, and it was a joke. It was funny to me... given that the entire left thinks that Bush is a billionaire baby even while they're supporting someone like Kerry. Technically, yes, they did... Did someone claim that they were directly involved with September 11th? Or just that they supported terror? I bet they probably did... Zarqawi et al. Yes, they did... and it was going well for the French and UN under the oil for food program, right? Why shouldn't we? We're paying the bill. Oh, hello again!
  16. Did I say anything about CBN? I don't watch CBN and can't say anything about it. That's not what my post was about. Don't do that. Oh, hello again!
  17. I don't quite think that comparing FOX to Al-Jazeera is really a fair or reasonable comparison AT ALL. Seriously, I watch Fox and CNN both and it really isn't all that different. Slightly different emphasis on stories, different opinion people, but really very similar. Al-Jazeera, on the other hand, is basically the "legitimate" mouthpiece for arab extremists. That comparison wouldn't be fair even if it was CNN or ABC or NBC or CBS being compared to that crap. Oh, hello again!
  18. Are gangs more of a problem now than they were in the late 80's/early 90s? You don't seem to see them in the news as much, that's for sure. Granted gangs are a problem, but is it a problem on the rise (again) or is it in a steady decline? Is it just another issue to take a stand on for candidates? Oh, hello again!
  19. Everything else aside, I thought the movie was actually not that great. I damn near fell asleep for a while. My biggest problem with it, is that people who do not pay attention to what is going on, or to people too dumb to do research on their own... it can and probably will influence their votes, based on 1/2 truths, long reaches, and sometimes just blatant out of context facts. After seeing it, that is my opinion of what the movie was really intended for... after, of course, MM's own self-promotion. I've seen BFC, and Roger & Me as well and I really REALLY dislike how he treats people when talking to them, or using soundbites to prove a point. He comes from what I call the "Jerry Springer" school of argument: Person A: "I think that Saddam has had WMDs, and we should go find out if he still has them" MM: "Did you just say, 'I think Saddam had WMDs, and... still has them'??? OOOOOOHHHHH BUSTED!!! I GOT YOU. BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER!! OOOOH" Of course this doesn't allow us to see what's really going on, or give the other guy the opportunity to defend what he said. He's definitely a lamer. Oh, hello again!
  20. Yeah, I think you all might have said it... loser/wackjob/glory whore. Oh, hello again!
  21. No, but they sure did/do spend a lot of time on making sure an inordinate amount of tv and newspaper time was spent on each and every mistake. Oh, hello again!
  22. The only problem I have with saying hips first is that it kind of discounts the fact that you have 2 HUGE wings that can work independently, legs. Sometimes legs alone are enough to get a job done... like in turns, fall rate, docking, etc... hips come in in larger movements like forward and backwards driving and sidesliding. Either way, like you said, no arms please! Oh, hello again!
  23. I never realized that Halliburton was only good at building shitters! Maybe NacMac can expand on their unique qualifications to contract in Iraq. Interesting side note... saw a documentary on TLC about toilets. Apparently "crap" comes from the name of a brit who made a certain kind of toilet. His name was John Crapper. Hence, "I need to go to the crapper". I thought that was funny. Oh, hello again!
  24. Oh I agree. I just remember hearing a few people saying how the media wasn't REALLY slanted and aguing about it a lot. Here we have a "neutral" site that even feels the bias in the media. The site itself isn't too bad, but it's just so hard to be really neutral, isn't it? Oh, hello again!
  25. Yeah, I got that part. I don't think it stinks. Keep reading. and So definitely we shouldn't be giving work to the most qualified... right? Especially if we're friends with the most qualified people. Let's give it to people who are less capable and who we don't like so we don't make anyone mad. Oh, hello again!
