  4. Generally when asking for a letter of invitation the following information will be required prior to the invitation being extended. Purpose of visit. Name as it appears on passport Date of Birth Passport Number Entry and Exit dates to/from United States Lodging: Name of hotel, physical address and phone number. Once you have given that information to the company providing services, they should be able to send you the requested document. In order to be acceptable to the Russian Consulate it also must be in color, have a legible signature from the individual extending the invitation and a company stamp. I hope this answers your question, but do feel free to send me a PM if you require additioinal help.

  8. I noticed. Larry Hill would be within his rights to bring litigation for aiding and abetting a bad act agaisnt those that continue to take the certificates. (Larry really is a nice person so I would doubt that he would. I cannot however speak for him) I can't answer this at this time. Next step....JAN
  9. The court entered an order increasing the award of damages and granting attorney fees to Skydive Arizona. The Court finds that "Defendants completely fail to appreciate the wrongfulness of their conduct. Defendants seemingly disregard for the people they harmed or the reputation they sullied, convinces the court that the increase in the amount of actual damages is proper and, as a result , will double each damage award." The Court said, "This Court has no trouble concluding that the Jury's conclusion regarding willfulness are amply supported by this record" page 22, lines 17-18 and "the conduct for which Defendants were found liable were particularly egregious," page 22,lines 20-22. There is more but that is the gist of the order. I seriously doubt that an appeal would prevail given all statements made by the Court...but this is just MY opinion. In closing I will add....it's been a long journey. In reflection I think of the words of Gen. Colin Powell (Ret) whom I had the honor of listening to recently in Phoenix. He said: "Sometimes its a matter of how much you are willing to sacrifice and how much you are willing to endure." I can without a doubt say to you all, I stood up against what I felt was wrong and harmful to the sport I care about, as did Larry Hill and a few others. Some folks WILL choose the hard right over the easy wrong. Additionally I say to you all... YOU can make a difference. It starts with one voice. IF you feel strongly about something stay the course. You may not have the outcome that you wish, but you will walk away having known that you did just as I. You sacrificed and endured.....and didn't get eaten Until then, stay safe. Respectfully B2
  10. BB looks in her hands...I got nuttin' eating Top Ramen as usual... I will just be pleased as punch not having to stand in the fire anymore seemingly being the "bad guy".

  12. What Can We Do About Skyride ? Be patient even when it isn't your strong suit. Stand in the fire for what you believe in even when others don't agree. Check your motives and then do the next right thing even when people are trying to discredit you. Be part of the solution.
  13. More than one. This isn't over quite yet. Jan deserves a huge thank you....and in the near future I believe an apology by some as well. More shall be revealed
  14. The jury has returned a verdict in the case filed by Skydive Arizona (owner Larry Hill) against Skyride (Ben Butler and Cary Quattrocchi). The jury found in favor of Skydive Arizona on all claims against Cary Quattrocchi and Ben Butler. The jury awarded $ 6.6 million in damages. The jury also found their violations willful. The official statement from legal counsel is forthcoming and shall be in more detail. Thank you to all the folks that supported Larry Hill/Skydive Arizona for standing up for what is right. I will also make a personal statement after the official statement has been released. Score one for the good guys. B2
  15. I would hope that I am of medium intelligence...maybe not. I do understand the why of it but that still doesn't make it the right thing to do. As I said before the athletes really don't hand out a bunch of stuff...they are too busy. I have been a sponsored athlete and some I repeat some contracts have a stipulation that marketing items must be handed out at events. I have also organized USPA Nationals as well as level 1 World meets. So I do understand. My issue is having someone walk around to ensure that the athletes are complying. Is this a USPA mandate or that of the host? Lastly, we can agree to disagree, but it isn't necessary to be disagreeable in the process with the inference that folks on here are lacking in mental magnitude.
  16. Yup. But this isn't the Spaceland Nationals. It's the USPA Nationals. And therein lies the rub... Exactly!
  17. DISCLAIMER: The following is my own opinion as an individual and does NOT reflect that of my employer. WOW. I've been a competitor and an event organizer in prior USPA Nationals and I have to tell you...I think this is not a good decision. Most competitors don't hand out items anyway that is why there are event sponsors. But to tell them they can't at all?! And they will be monitored? WOW. Just WOW! I understand that it is the USPA Nationals and they own it but come on! Without the athletes how would one maintain the 501-C3 status? Additionally, athletes get sponsored as ADVERTISEMENT $$ and now you have diminished some of their advertising worth by disallowing even handing out a simple manufacturer pull-up cord?! I thought that it was always suppose to be about putting the best interest of the athletes before all other relationships??!!! I stand corrected.
  18. Umm not what I meant...there is something to see but I ain't tellin' is what I meant silly monkey!!! More like...I got nuthin'.
  19. Ok folks nothing to see here keep moving....
  20. Oh I know! Pick me...pick meeeee!
