    First off, Skydive Arizona did NOT have 6 fatalities in a year. In the course of 4 years x 140,000 jumps per year we have had 2 fatalities. (you can do the math) To say that 6 fatalities in a year is an acceptable level is ludicrous, even given the volume of jumps. ANY fatality is unacceptable. Sorry but the instructor comments didn't happen, some of the quotes by me were never expressed. Furthermore if you see the guy naked ...that didnt happen either...he was wearing a speedo. I could continue to list the discrepancies, but that would take more time than I currently care to invest in regard to that article. B2

    I am greatly disappointed in the article. Much of what was written is pure fabrication. Many of the statements never happened, situatons never happened....facts changed to make for a "good" story. And so it goes with some media....

    Its always a good idea to learn to walk before you run. Although there are some that start freeflying early on, it is imperative that one learns to fly on their belly with control,being able holding a heading and a stable deployment position.

    A year later...the memory of Hol no longer brings tears to my eyes. Now, the thoughts conjour a smile, remembering her as she would want. Tonight, I will lift a glass in her honor as will many of her friends here. We will celebrate the lessons learned and the gifts given. Our hearts will fill with joy and we will embrace each other with "full on hugs"......thats just the way she would want it. edited to say: today a tree was planted on the dz in remembrance of Hol. Next spring it will bloom vibrant purple flowers....her favorite color.

    The vescosity of the slime and the sand bags in the pond probably saved him. I hate to think what may have happened 5 feet to the left. He didn't say anything about being sore, but if it had been me...I would probably still be in bed

    BB takes a deep calming breath* I would just like to point out that your missus has a full time job...she is raising the children. You afford her the luxery? Think about her going back to work, maybe 35% of her income going to taxes, the rest going to pay for daycare, which might even be more than she would be making, and someone else would be influencing your children rather than her. Wouldn't you rather have your wife home looking after your children. Perhaps if you were to take your vacation time and spend it all looking after the wee bairns, you would have a bit more appreciation of what it takes. As for your underwear....surely there is a Walmart near you Better yet, throw some in the wash? Hot meals? Turkey Pot Pies dude! LOL
