  1. He won't be using anyone. . Me lead around by the nose? Bwahhhhhhhh thanks for the laugh at that one Nick! Perhap he is I really wouldn't know. What I do know is that there will be some very good skydivers who happen to like his films, and are looking forward to the project.
  2. I stand corrected...short film I watch his work on the Discovery channel so to me it is a movie....but again you are correct

  9. Canuck, The essay was Bryan's opinion on the matter of economic value and not necessarily that of the management at Skydive Arizona nor Larry Hill. For point of clarification, Bryan is one of 3 S&TAs here and a contracted employee (pimarily for large events). B2
  10. Much discussion has been taking place in several forums regarding canopy piloting issues. Below is the letter from Larry Hill, owner of Skydive Arizona addressing the landing policy at his drop zone. This is not a ban on swooping folks...it is restricting turns in the pattern. Discuss.
  11. Thank you all for the Birthday wishes...much appreciated!
  12. Slot, That is fantastic news! Please tell Logan I am waaaaaay proud of him!
  13. Skydive Arizona has already implemented a new policy that was put into place today. Bryan Burke will post that in the safety and training forum sometime in the next days.
  14. Hello honey! Tell us what you've been up to!
  15. I am pleased that I could contribute to your overall well being on this day
  16. Dear Sunshine, I thought that I would let you know that as of May 1, 2007 Arizona law prohibits smoking in all public places and entry ways. The Bent Prop will be smoke free.
  17. I am sorry that you feel this way. Skydive Arizona does everything it can to provide for a safe environment. I would also point out that in the past there were six fatalities (non-aircraft related) within a year at one dz. Yet people still jump there. Are they unsafe? I don't think so. At the end of the day what we cannot do is control people's judgement or lack thereof. One other thing I would ask folks to consider is this... When people expire at any drop zone, it also effects the people that live and work there. Perhaps keeping this in mind would be cause for thought, and a bit less finger pointing which seems to happen more often in the forums. The reality is that skydiving is not a safe sport. You are dead everytime you jump from an airplane until you do something.
  18. You will be happy to know then, that after a week of winds, the weather here is just about perfect. Winds light and variable and temps of 83F. We ran 4 planes most of the day yesterday so you won't have any trouble getting an air bath B
