Yuppers I do think! Then again if one reads the entire thread, they soon learn that this was a post meant in fun (according to the original posters last statement) Also note that the although the rigger hasn't received his Morgan yet, it was agreed that he would receive it in Rantoul as previously stated. Changes the flavor when all of the pieces are put out there. Just goes to show ya...two sides to every story -

And to think Mama that he tried to blame not finding his d-bag on me! Can I help it if I was already back on the dz preparing to land, why I was way infront of him. I think we aught to be able to come up with something to shame him into paying up! Like...offering packing lessons? Bwahhhhhhhhh -

I'll agree with you there, it was an OK movie. The fight scenes reminded me of Braveheart, but didn't come off very well. The yarn itself was a nice spin on the old tale.
-

The policy at SDAZ is the door is to be closed on take-off and remained closed until 1,000 feet AGL. At no time may a door be opened during take off if there is a student on board. It gets bloody hot here, but the rules are in place for everyone's safety. I was recently in Lake Wales and yes the aircraft did take off with the door open, even with a student on board. My overall experience at Lake Wales was a positive one, with friendly courteous staff. I've been there on more than one occasion and have always been treated very well. I might suggest that you contact the DZM and express your concerns as well as your experience there. I am quite certain that she be interested to hear from you. info@floridaskydiving.com

It all comes down to choices. If you don't want to pay a boogie fee, don't go to that particular event. There are numerous costs associated with hosting a large boogie that attendees may never consider. I don't mind paying a boogie fee, I understand the additional expense incurred to host such events. Remember too that drop zones are businesses, and need to cover their expenses. If you think the profit margins are great...think again.
