    I've been thinking about what to say since yesterday... I could share a lot about Chris and the interaction we've had over the past years. Instead, I will share the conversation that we had yesterday... Chris came into manifest in his usual cheery way and said "Bets...we gotta talk!" I was thinking okay..he has something up his sleeve! LOL

    21 sq ft. No he didnt land it... The canopy is about the size of a kite! The film footage is amazing! Tonight is our annual Halloween Costume party...I'll be sure to get some pics

    What a hoot! Lou , Ash and Rolf are working hard with these birdies! Everyone is having a great time. Looking forward to seeing what Gray has worked up for tomorrow...something about bananas! Looking forward to having more flockers here over the week-end. Its practically purrrfect.

    Skyride offers skydiving in the following location in Arizona, and has facticious websites for each. In Arizona there are 5 legitimate skydiving operations: Skydive Arizona, Desert Skydiving Buckeye, Skydive Coolidge, Skydive Cottonwood and Marana Arizona · Phoenix · Tucson · Mesa · Glendale · Scottsdale · Chandler · Tempe · Gilbert · Peoria · Yuma · Flagstaff In Arizona there are 4 legitimate skydiving operations: Skydive Arizona, Buckye, Skydive Coolidge, Skydive Cottonwood So as you can see Skyride is growing arms and legs. Tom points out some valid options. As to the "deal" that Tom mentioned..there isnt one. Skydive Arizona has contacted skyride several times and has asked to be removed from all thier lists to no avail.

    I think it makes for an interesting platform...but that is better left in another forum. Its fraud. Its theft. Its unethical. Its bad for skydiving. For those that arent aware...do a search on skyride. There are several threads.

    It comes down to a couple of things. Call your USPA rep and voice your concerns. Email the USPA and voice your concerns. Its all well and good that we can complain about this (which we have in several threads) but you have to take action. Remember that they USPA is suppose to listen to its Membership. Thats you and me. Do talk to your DZO/DZM and approach them with the facts. Don't spend your money at their DZs. Don't honor their certificates. Skyride may very well bring folks to the sport, but how many stay in and better yet...how many leave with a really bad taste in thier mouth? Talk is cheap...stay informed, and take action.

    I've ever heard this one before.. I was on a lift with some tandems and the conversation went something like this: Tandem Passenger: "Hey are we gonna fall through clouds?" Instructor: "No we don't jump through clouds" TP:" Well when you fall through a cloud does it taste like metal?" Instructor:" Excuse me?" TP: "My friend told me that clouds taste like metal" Instructor...speechless. I had to turn my face away as did the camera flyer next to me. It was worth a good chuckle

    Nah..plenty of commercials done in the air out here and generally lighting isnt an issue.
