So today I had to deal with an irate customer. The conversation went like this;" My name is____ and I bought a gift certificate for my husband for Christmas that was suppose to be a surprise. Someone from your drop zone called at 9:10 PM and left a messege. My husband was home and you've ruined Christmas!" I knew where it had come from off the bat ...but the woman insited that it was Skydive Arizona...I continued to ask her several questions and finally she offered that she saved the recording on her answering machine and would I mind listening to it, which I did. The number was...1-800-skyride. I explained to the woman that we do not honor those certificates. She said: "But I told them it was for Skydive Arizona!" Merry, merry eh? -
Skydive Arizona is proud to announce that it has been selected to host the POPS World Meet 2006. The event will take place 15-21 October.

JRock merely posed a question. I have a question of my own...of the people posting here... Does your drop zone accept skyride certificates? Mine does not. -

Okay guys lets not get personal here. The issue is Skyride. There will always be those that turn a blind eye, there will always be those who think its ok. It goes to merit. It also is clearly evident, there are those that have educated themselves on the subject and those that have not. Lets keep it clean, play nicely and stay on topic. B2 -

Contact YOUR USPA representative and tell them you want a code of ethics put on the agenda and adopted at the next meeting. B2 Interesting things coming over email these days....interesting indeed. B2 -

Ditto. Furthermore, many of the sponsored jumpers list their sponsorships in their personal profile. That is easy enough to look up. Secondly, there are plenty of other things that this site could use without spending time and resources to create an additional "mark". Lastly, most sponsored folks are stright forward about their sponsorships and offer experiences based on having used other manufacturers gear. In fact they are encouraged to do so in order to offer educated information.
