    WAHOOO...congrats! I celebrated with champagne when mine was final. Had a hangover for 2 days. During that time is when I went out and bought my second set of diamond earrings. I bought the first set when I filed and emptied the checkbook.

    Tough decision. I broke my arm/elbow in June. The dr said I'd never be able to jump again because I would never be able to straighten it enough to flare. Near the end of August I could stand being grounded no more so a friend took me for a tandem. He let me help with the toggles and I realized my arm may be straighter than the Dr though it would be but nowhere near strong enough to flare my main. So I waited another month and used light weights to continue strenthening my arm before I finally came back. All that to make a point. I though when I did the tandem I was ready, but I wasn't.     I've made about 50 jumps on my new Odyssey which has the 1" flat chest strap with no turn back. I was cornered by someone last w/e at the DZ who told me he really thought it was dangerous because there is nothing to "catch" it if the strap slips. I don't simply hook the strap and fold it over I run it back around the clasp and underneath through the keeper because it does seem more secure. So what do you think? Is the strap ok like it is or should it have a turn back sewn on it? I enjoy doing hybrids but the thought of falling out of my harness sucks. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

    I thought I'd update this: I came in today after having jury duty yesterday to find a withdrawal slip for this girl on my desk. It seems she ran away over the weekend, was arrested and is now in a state juvenile facility. Unfortunately nothing I did or the counselors did helped. I'm really sad that things worked out this way for her. I understand she'll be incarcerated for a very long time because of her crime. Sadder thing is I really thought I could make a difference with her. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

    Actually the height requirement was 5'2" and I measured at 5'2 1/2" so I made it! I couldn't weigh over 118 pounds and I had to stand on the seat on the larger aircraft in order to reach into the overhead compartment. We were required to wear heels from 2 -3 1/2 " inside the airport and were allowed to change to flats on the aircraft. We served full meals on most flights over 35 minutes. I flew Senior on most of my flights with Eastern after 6 months. It was a lot of fun, but agree you need patience of Job some days.
