i bought rig from flip with the downsize deal. there was a problem with my rig not getting the hip rings that i ordered but he set everything straight as best he could thus leaving me a happy camper. i will contact him soon about downsizing and suspect that all will go well....at least i hope so pd did after all bump up their prices Pointy birds Oh pointy pointy Anoint my head Anointy nointy -

hello i am currently in the process of buying a wingsuit. and so far i have norrowed the choice down to the s6 the vampire2 and the s fly expert. i cant really demo the three suits so i am willing to take a stab in the dark at it and just get one and learn how to fly it. i noticed on my numerous searches on the internet that these suits especially the s fly differ from each other in apparent wings surface area. the s fly appears to be much smaller but on these forums it is categorized in the same cattegory as the other two suits. therefore i would like to know about the importance of surface area is bigger always better or is it the way they are designed. or should i just order a jii wings

Vector 3 - that new 3D Spacer Foam...?
plutoniumsalmon replied to brabzzz's topic in Gear and Rigging
It makes sence. Thank you. PS Foam or no foam I still enjoy your product very much. Its built like a tank and is , in my opinion, rather good looking especially in the split color pattern. Pointy birds Oh pointy pointy Anoint my head Anointy nointy -
Vector 3 - that new 3D Spacer Foam...?
plutoniumsalmon replied to brabzzz's topic in Gear and Rigging
Can it be an aftermarket option like the skyhook. IE can I have my vector sent in and get the foam thing put on it? Pointy birds Oh pointy pointy Anoint my head Anointy nointy -
Beginner interested in tracking pants/suit.
plutoniumsalmon replied to gump1119's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I hate posting but this is kind of funny Does it not look like that on his little picture under the screen name that he is sliding (tracking) back wards (the feet are almost on his ass and the arms are too far out)? Perhaps the tracking suit will stop that -
Hello I am new to the flock and have about 5 jumps on a GTI that belongs to a friend. I need to buy my own suit and therefore would like some advice on what I should buy. I did talk to the bird people at the dropzone and they all recommend different things that range from a firebird R to a Vampire. Seeing that I plan to fly every week and that the delivery time for a new wingsuit is about 13 weeks, I am begining to think that the Vampire or it's equivalent is not as crazy as it sounds. As by the time it comes in the mail I would have 40-60 on a GTI and would still be able to fly it until I really feel comfortable in a wing suit. My question to you then is two fold. 1. Is it rational to buy a something like a Vampire as a first wingsuit purchase. Keeping in mind of course the scenario described above and that I am not entirely made of money. 2 What other suits like the Vampire are out there and what are the differences between them. S6? Vampire? FlyYour body (dont even know if its in the same category) Matter? so on and so fourth. Anyways thanks for the help ps I did the search thing but did not really find the answers I am looking for as namely everyone says the suits are great but no one gives much specifics or comparisons. pps I did talk and still do talk to my instructor (he is pro firebird r). And I will bother Andy West when he gets back from Europe (he recommended the vampire by the way). I just want the opinion from the peanut gallery ppps And for those interested in flaming this post or coming up with some comment that I am retarded or something (I know that already) perhaps you should ask yourself these questions. Is my life really that shitty that I have to spend five minutes of it typing some insult in response to a legitimate question in a forum on the world wide web just to feel better about myself? Or maybe I should just sit back a little, chill, and think 'you know this ain't that bad'? Pointy birds Oh pointy pointy Anoint my head Anointy nointy

To unlucky1 I hate postin but here it goes 1 Van gough was dutch not from denmark but holland 2 He was a film maker 3 The australian resort was in Bali ie Indonesia hence not Australian at all I believe real world experience requires actual world experiences and not the distilation of the O'reiley factor. Concider purchasing an atlas and reading the full story in a newspaper but you might be right about the pc issue Pointy birds Oh pointy pointy Anoint my head Anointy nointy -

Travel Advisory from the future ATTN Arrive at the airport two weeks before your domestic flight and a month before international for quarantine and security (this includes persons already psychologically screened by the proper authorities). Do not bring any clothing or baggage as it will be confiscated and burned. You will be provided with all lubricants for probing as well as all the tools for the lobotamy. If traveling with a baby please insure that it has been prepared for cryogenic freezing or if you prefer confiscation (you will be issued with a replacement baby once you arrive at your destination). Please shave off all your hair including eye lashes. Please be prepared to stand for the duration of the flight and breathe totaly recurculated air for its entirety as a result of airline cut backs in costs due to recent economic troubles. Please be prepared for the unexpected like the fact that airline food might not give you botulism. Please concider the option of mailing your self to your destination either in parts or in a special container designed for human freight. This is cool thanks for posting. I went hunting for rabbits with one of the few people in the country who is allowed to rehab eagles and hence had to edure a death march like walk through alf alfa fields whilst waiting for the eagle to kill something (was still fun though). I had it on my hand for a bit and let me tell you the thing is a lot less cuddly close up and the force it puts out with its feet is just incredible. Also when an eagle desides to crap it's best to stand back, it almost hit me and I was more than three feet away. Pointy birds Oh pointy pointy Anoint my head Anointy nointy

God forbid that the children will see some skin during the one and half hours of a film that deals with violence, death, and segregation. It has to be the boobies that will f uck them up and nothing else. Pointy birds Oh pointy pointy Anoint my head Anointy nointy

How about this for communication. I was talking to a friend recently and explaining to him a funny story that happened to me. I was in a train station waiting in line as to buy a ticket to PitTsburgh. When my turn came up I noticed that the ticket clerk (a woman) had really big breasts. I got distracted for a second and instead of requesting a ticket to PitTsburgh I asked for a ticket to Titsburgh. It was a freudian slip. A freudian slip? Whats that? My friend asked I explained that it is a psychological phenomenon where a person wants to say one thing but inadvertently says something else more pertinent to the subject that he was thinking about. Oh! My friend replied. I had one of those Really? I asked. Yes. Just two days ago. He clarified. I was having breakfast with my wife and I wanted some orange juice. But instead of saying "Honey? Could you please pass the juice?" I turned to her and said BITCH YOU RUINED MY LIFE!

Hello, I do not post often but thought that this might be interesting for people looking to buy gear online. There is not a section (as you might well know) in the 'Gear' portion of this site where one might review the service one received from an online retailer, as there probably should be as most of us probably buy gear from internet stores. So without further ado here is my review of zoodive.com All I wanted to write is that I recently purchased a complete rig from Zooodive.com (vector3, vigil, Sabre 2 170, and a PDR 160 reserve) and even though it was not delivered to the exact specification that I ordered, Philippe 'Flip' went way out of his way to make it alright with me in the most prompt and courteous way available to him at the time. The price that I paid was also below other quotes that I got from other retailers and there is the wonderful incentive of the evolution program. I am extremely happy with zoodive.com and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you PS I dont post often but then again one hardly ever receives such great customer service from an online retailer.
