I like your paintings... I paint also.. just thought I would post what my "skydiving" paintings kinda look like. this one is about 3.5 feet tall by 4.5 feet wide (as you can see I like more abstract stuff...) _________________________________________ this space for rent.

i got a cheapy one from "go fly a kite" thats the company that makes it... its a 2 line called a t-foil got it for like $50 at kitefarm.com it was at my door 2 days after I placed the order and they had the best price I could find anywhere (some $20 cheaper than many other places) its only about 8.5 sq feet, wont lift you off the ground, but last weekend I did get quite worn out flying it. it has quite the pull in the "power zone"...enough to go from sitting on the ground to standing jsut using the kite to pull me up... if you are looking to get started in kite surfing then prob go with a better trainer...if you are jsut looking for something fairly cheap to play with... the t-foil is a fun toy. they also have 4 line versions and there are quite and abundance of manufacturers that make kites... if you look in the back of a parachutist you can get a free kite catelogue which has plenty to choos from for the novice "want something to do in too high winds" type person... _________________________________________ this space for rent.

i dont mind lotion...but I cant put it on myself...I hate (and I mean its one of my biggest pet peves) having lotion (or anything with the same consistancy/ viscosity) on my hands... same goes with chap stick...cant use the stuff...just hate the feeling of it on... I would rather be under canopy than in a car, but I am biased...really though...they are so different in frequency and amounts of people I dont think it is a good comparison. I mean yeah more people get hurt in car accidents, but as you said drivers are much more common than divers.... _________________________________________ this space for rent.

remember the lower the iso the more light its gonna take to expose it.. (speaking in film terms..but also kinda relates to digital) so the lower the iso the longer the sutter has to be open to get the same effect...(given the f-stop/ aperature) is constant. I think 200iso, f4, @ 1/30th would be a good start.. jsut make sure you have a tripod, or something stable to put the camera on or it will look really zig-zaggy... its kinda cool though _________________________________________ this space for rent.

For fun get a tri-pod and put it on bulb. get a film that is about 400-800 iso. aim and jsut hold it down for a good 1-3 seconds depending on the brightness... you will get some funky pics like that.. you need no flas (hopefully obvious) I would use a fairly large aperature and a mid range to long sutter speed. 1/60th will be good, but the longer the shutter is open, the longer the "tails" will be on the fireworks.. I would jsut experiment with a bung of different settings and write down what you did so next time you can get the effect you are looking for.. _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I did somewhere in the range of 300... I think it may be closer to 250... wish it was more, but that whole time and money thing... I want to do at least 500 in '04... I think I will be able to fairly easily this year.. I did, though, progress quite a bit this year in freeflying..the difference between 200 jumps and 500 jumps was HUGE for me... i feel much more confident now and I have even been in completed 6way head down dives (yeah so I am tooting my own horn a little, but I am pretty happy with my progression) cant wait till I am in the league of the big daddy-o's flying like mad, not happy til I'm doin 160 mph head down with my hair on fire! _________________________________________ this space for rent.

well my old "roomate" had one..called it a snow white party actually...had white tablecloth, everyone had to wear white clothes, had pasta with oliveoil and white wine sauce and a bottle of white wine to drink, desert was angel food cake with white frosting, the side dish was water chestnuts, hung white x-mas lights... it was way overdone...but really fun also... then played a couple games that involved "white" as well... cant remember specifics after all that kendall jackson chard.... _________________________________________ this space for rent.
