my wifes engagement ring cost about 3,500...her wedding ring cost about 2,200 so her total ring was about 5,700 but also has a 1 year engagement ring for about 2,500 so she bling blinging it at about 10,400. my wedding ring was 2,500 (platinum..same with hers) and with a small diamond (bagette sp?) tension set into it. would it (because of the increased speed) be hard to control on opening? in a "hop and pop" the airspeed would be aroung 80-90mph right? wouldnt full terminal at approx 120 mph reselt in a snappier more unpredictable opening? _________________________________________ this space for rent.

man those things are fun... anyone on here have one??? I jsut sold a handfull of RC plane stuff on ebay and I think I am going to get a gs storm buggy nitro/gas car or something similar... as of right now they will jsut have the c-182, but possibly a caravan for that weekend. they are also working on either a caravan or an otter for the rest of the summer (from what I hear) on the 8th there will be a swoop competition... hope some of ya can make it (I know the fleet of aircraft isnt that impressive, but it WILL be an AWESOME time!) _________________________________________ this space for rent.

the weather here has been ok.. and the season is just about to pick up (from what I hear) I did about 9 tandems last week (working wed-sunday, but sunday and thursday was a wash) the only thing is now I cant post whore all day... gotta get me a laptop for those down times _________________________________________ this space for rent.

Well As some of you may know I finally cut away my job last week and I have been living the DZ life (kindof) for almost a week now! I love it! I love teaching student about our wonderful sport and the best part about it is I get paid to jump out of planes! I have had a handfull of tandems now and I have been working on my freefly suit company as well as helping out at the DZ (skydive spaceland) repairing thier jump suites and stuff.... just thought I would post how much fun I am having and that I wish everyone else here has as an enjoyable experience as I am.. it will take a while to get it out, but if you have a stitch picker it will make it easier. it could still take an hour or so to get it all out. and you also have to be careful to not get any fabric cut in there also. you may just want to put a patch over it for an easy fix:) _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I would say a 10gallon tank is prob on the small side. for cichlids a 20 (long) would be good for about 3-4 of them. you have to think about 1 gallon of water per .5-1 inch of fish. that is good rule anyways. the space and finally being able to see may be why they are a little testy. you also may want to try over feeding them for a little while (be sure to do some water changes to keep the amonia levels manageable, and NEVER to a 100% water change. when cleaning the tank jsut do 20-30% at a time taking out water and putting new in (this allows the bacteria..a good thing.. to stay at a level to eat the waste which turns it into nitrites/nitrates, and amonia... and keeping the system balanced and healthier)... I would say if you try over feeding jsut a little and do 20% water changes every 2 weeks for a couple months and move the decorations around once a week or two it may keep them busy enought to leave eachother alone... _________________________________________ this space for rent.

cichlids are very aggressive by nature. what kind are they? pink convict? boisani (sp?) ??? you can try to put more stuff in the tank that the smaller one can hide behind... try looking at some live plants.. they work well for smaller fish to hide in and "flow" better with the waters movement... you might also looka t getting a few more that are med sized. make sure you get with a knowledgeable sales person on the cichlids because not all cichlids will get along with eachother. what size tank are they in? what kind? and what size are they now? (my brother use to own a pet store and I delt allot with the exotic freshwater and saltwater fish, so I hope this may help a little. they are also trying to establish thier territory. so mixing up the decorations inside can do one of two things.. it could help as the terrirory would constantly be changing, or it could make it worse due to the bigger one constantly wanting to fight for new territory. I suggest make a few small changes in the decorations in the tank and observe the behavior...if its worse then stop..if better then move more stuff around... _________________________________________ this space for rent.
