went last year... it was a pretty good time considering the weather..but I just didnt get the marigras feel out of it... the partys seemed to end early and be no more exciting than an average weekend party at Skydive Wayne County...or Z-hills... that would take big brass ones.. does he deploy higher than most people??? the control checks would be HUGE considering he only has to go by feel to see if anything is wrong... when does he know to flare?? and how does he know where to go to get to the dz?? radio?? I dont know if I could do it solo...but I would definately go tandem if I became blind... -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

We had the heli at our dz for jumps, but we were weathered out... so the pilot was doing rides to fill and fly a few loads since the coud base was at 1100 ft.. after a few loads the pilot was letting some of the instructors and people that worked at the dz fly on the "rides" it was really cool... I just cant get my mind off of flying it.. I have flown a few planes and logged a few hours a couple years ago, and flew right seat in otters and caravans and such...but flying the heli was way more fun.... cant wait to do it again... I might even just go streight for my private rotary and skip the fixed wing for now... just one more thing to add to my list I guess :) -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

yeah... I am sure with countless hours and hours of practice I would be a little more comfotable in the front seats I didnt really feel like I was risking seariou injury or death... the pilot was there the whole time to take the controls if I needed him to. the hovering with the ground effect was the hardest part... -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

When I was looking for a sports car a while ago I checked out the s2000.. also looked at the audi tt and the merc slk230/330... I found that the merc was the msot comfortable..(I am 6 feet tall so that was a pretty big issue when it came to the 2 seater sports car...) plus it was hard top/convertable...and was pretty quick as well... thats my 2 cents... but I ended up going a completely different path and buying a wrangler jeep :) -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

well... when doing the in ground effect hovering I was barely in a controlled crash I was very happy to have the pilot there to help out the out of ground effect hovering was pretty wierd also...but I did better on that.. -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

yeah.. it was way touchy... every little thing you did with the sitck, pedals, and cyclic (sp??) made the heli move in different ways. and the best part was for the 30 minutes of flight (not taking an actual lesson, but the pilot happened to be a CFI) only cost $45... good stuff... -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

we only had about 1100 feet then total overcast.. That and I have jumped out of a chopper before.. the one I flew in fact..I had five jumps out of it from a couple years ago.. the flying part was better than the jumping part in my opinion... way too cool... -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

ok so yesterday was pretty awesome.. I got to fly a helicopter... I was in the left seat and it was the first time I was at the controls...(yeah yeah yeah beer...) it was so touchy and was like the most extreme video game I have ever played... I got to fly about 20-30 feet off the ground down a windy river... that was way cool... just thought I would gloat... I kinda feel like flying the heli was like my first jump.... -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

she is full grown... a little over a year old... she is about 40 lbs and it may be hard to believe, but she had even more wrinkles as a puppy... anyways.. she is back to somewhat normal now..:) -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

she does the figure 8 laps around the kitchen table and coffee table from time to time...but this was a little more odd than I had ever seen her... funny stuff.. wish my video camera wasnt in my locker at work... -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.

ok so I am just sitting here checkin emails...reading a few threads and all of a sudden my pup has lost it! She is running around in circles, chasing her tail, jumping on the spare bed, flopping down like she is going to pass out, lays there for a minute, jumps back up, runs circles around me and flops on the ground, then jumps back onto the bed and now she seems to have spent that energy after about 5 minuted of going bonkers and is laying in the corner of the room facing the corner...like she is in "time out" or something... What a wierdo.... gotta love her though -y _________________________________________ this space for rent.
