  1. Last year trump tweeted that four female Black congresswomen go back “totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,”. Today his response is on the steps of the WH. Lindsey Graham said in 2012, “We’re not generating enough angry white guys to stay in business for the long term." how's business now? In the convention of that same year the GOP said they need an "autopsy" to ascertain why the GOP attracts so few members of color. Evangelicals shut that down. The GOP has used gerrymandering, refused mail in balloting, set up roadblocks for voting again and again. All to keep the GOP dream of a White Republic alive.
  2. He's moaning like trump watching FOX-Hannity WH special.
  3. "Virtually everyone outside the Trump administration agrees that the GOP tax plans passed by the House and the Senate will aggravate income inequality. In fact, the party-line votes on both plans are the latest instance of a remarkable fact: Over the last 40 years, income inequality has accelerated when Republicans held the White House, the Congress or both, and slowed when Democrats were in charge." Read, learn and understand.
  4. Mark would not like the fact that the US is 1.5 % less equal than Iran. On the other hand Ron would be happy that the US is 1.5% more equal than Nigeria and Uganda. "Income inequality has reached its highest level in at least 50 years, according to new U.S. government data released today, underscoring a key theme for Democratic candidates hoping to unseat President Donald trump. Although the economy has been growing above 2 percent annually under trump, the data from the Census Bureau suggest the benefits of that growth are disproportionately flowing to Americans with higher incomes, feeding a steady multidecade trend." and there is rioting, who'd have thunk it? MAGA
  5. This juries and the courts need to stop the benefit of doubt to LE when unarmed suspects are injured subsequent to arrest. A blue wall of silence should have ended when cameras entered the equation. It didn't.
  6. The 2nd is a white only provision. The Black submission amendment is #12.

Well Bill has lots of ammo. Was there ever a situation where trump didn't shoot himself in the foot? Perhaps thats why trump Jr. never goes hunting with him.
  8. I agree trump will try to frustrate the results of his November election loss. But IMO at that time the republicans will take back their party. trump will have to leave kicking and screaming like the petulant child he is. He will make excuses, promise revenge and retaliation. But like he did when he was turned down for loans from the last US bank, leave he will. Because the lights will be going out when the power is cut, its over.
  9. Makes sense. Because Jews and money go hand in hand. Because Soros has the power to order LE homicide. Must be a deep state pre-election attack on trump in order to allow Blacks to overthrow the election. It was always only a matter of time till the Weathermen.decided to attack America again.
  10. IMO the violence was and is necessary in Hong Kong. The local government was acting as stooges of Beijing. These protests in the US have now resulted in two other deaths one of with was a LE officer. The facts that protests have spread to many cities in the US show pent up frustration. Its easy to say only peaceful protests should take place. When change fails to materialize decade after decade. Its easy to think that violence and protest should never go together. Furthermore I don't generally approve of it. However there currently seems to be an overt duty of proof to convict or charge LE in the death of unarmed suspects. There seems to be national issues whereby weeding out bad LE personnel seems to lack effect. I agree with your statement. But I also believe that the other three fired officers need to be charged as accessories. Only when LE officers themselves take action to get rid of the bad ones can it be turned around. Where are the Serpico's?
  11. Protests turn violent usually because there is tremendous pent up frustration. Disparate power. The police and government doing what they want. Black victims that are all presumed to be criminals in any interaction with police. When peaceful protest doesn't work, when the state, LE, etc. use protest as an attempt to brush off, blow off, drag out, real reforms. Then the type of rioting like in Hong Kong becomes necessary. Perhaps in the US as well. How many black victims of police homicide are necessary to reform these LE agencies? How many decades? Blacks in America who are unarmed are 30% more likely to be killed than whites.
  12. Agree but add vent, conduct personal attacks, continue vendettas, poll his supporters for their reactions, etc. Press conferences aren't nearly as efficient for trump. Because reporters challenge his lies, mistakes and stupidity.
  13. For turtle its not about what gave cause to the protests.Instead those who broke the law in the protests are the criminals. Inciting violence, trump encouraging his supporters to beat up those that oppose him. Then trump promising to pay their legal bills. Encouraging the police to “rough people up more”. What FOX tells him to think. Thats what is important.
  14. Because of C-19 this is his version of the Nuremberg Rallies or the propaganda events that he had before. Instead of mindless cheering of his hordes and the supporting cast of TV crews. He has his 19% of American adults that follow him and in his mind he believes they approve of him. Instead of wanting to see how stupid he is. Of course thats 7% less than Obama. With trump 60% of those accounts are likely fake. IMO those tweets are valuable because like his speeches that go off script. They are insight to his racism, ignorance and stupidity.
  15. When white protestors armed with AR-15's invade state buildings and drive elected officials out of them. While protesting lawful C-19 social distancing. trump said they are "very good people". When Blacks and white protestors, protest homicide by agents of the state. trump wants them shot. Republican leaders made a collective statement.
  16. IMO Stan failed to plan for succession. The fight with his former partner is a clue. Certainly his children or estate would be reluctant to work 8-12 hours a day, seven days a week. Nowadays few people will make such a work commitment. But he had a lifetime to find another partner or employee to manage the business. Perhaps too much an emphasis on quality over circumstance of his personal loss to operations.

    covid-19

You forgot the orange faced ones as well.
  18. Many dreams of independent business will be crushed in the next two years. Pilots, small service companies, restaurants, etc. But like Joe mentioned there will also be opportunity for the survivors.
  19. and Seems as if the Saudi's get a walk for Sept. 11 Don't hear Mark mention them. I guess the swords, white leopard skins, etc. that trump got as gifts make up for that. Kim gets his nuclear weapons, ICBM's gets to threaten America....crickets. Putin attacks American elections....quiet applause. What about those Japanese, surely two nuclear bombings was hardly enough punishment for Dec. 7. Don't forget the UK, and their uppity Queen. They tried to crush American independence. The UK never paid reparations for the 4,000 US POW's killed on British ships.
  20. Ah! a true trump supporter. Never admit failure, never admit you're wrong, never accept a truthful narrative. Perhaps the Japanese victims are to blame for not running away from the radiation fast enough? Perhaps the Japanese victims are to blame for not buying and taking their potassium iodide pills immediately.
  21. So how much coal does a Chinese power plant use if its not operating? Is there a point you're making about Chinese waste and poor planning. Or are you selling a moot point?
  22. IMO existing laws are sufficient to bite trump in the ass and the quote to trump put the bullseye where it belongs. Quite right but there are consequences to malicious lies naming individuals directly. Which existing laws can address. The second link in the first post most accurately identifies the maleficence.
  23. Do you ever read what you post? Or is it all troll, troll? This is a direct quote from the link you posted: "This is all despite significant overcapacity in the sector, with more than half of coal-power firms already loss-making and with typical plants running at less than 50% of their capacity."
  24. "At a rally in Fort Worth, Texas,  in February 2016, Trump vowed, “I’m going to open up our libel laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money. We’re going to open up libel laws, and we’re going to have people sue you like you’ve never got[ten] sued before.” In March 2017, he claimed in a tweet that “The failing @nytimes has disgraced the media world. Gotten me wrong for two solid years. Change libel laws?” And in October, he complained that it is “frankly disgusting the press is able to write whatever it wants to write.” He raised the issue again in January 2018, contending that “Our current libel laws are a sham and a disgrace and do not represent American values.”
