Did you even think about what you were going to say, before you said it?? Yes I did. Of course, not everyone who is into CReW/swooping/BASE is going to be an attention seeker. But I think if someone were the attention seeking type, they would be much more drawn to the disciplines where you get more attention. I wonder if choice of discipline says something about whether a given skydiver is an attention seeker. The canopy disciplines--CReW, swooping, BASE--would appear to be much more likely to generate 'attention' than the freefall disciplines--formation skydiving, freestyle--where the only people who will even see the jump are fellow jumpers who are depending on good performance (not egos) to stay alive.
