  1. Thanks. Yeah, Ellen from the Journal is a friend and a spectacular reporter. She called me and was like, "I'm doing this story, you've GOT to have an opinion on this." She's so cool. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
  2. Not sure how to take that, considering your sigline is "looks are deceiving." _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
  3. QuoteWear a baseball cap with your logo if you are so ashamed of shaving your melon. Quote Not ashamed at all. Just a new experience for me. Low self esteem, remember? :) *This post in no way should be construed as my saying that my self esteem is better or worse than anyone else's, nor should it be thought of that I'm trying to boast how great my self esteem is. Because it isn't. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
  4. Agreed - that channel scares the shit out of me, too - but I'm not going on as a pundit - but rather, an a marketing expert. It's a good chance to pimp the book. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

  7. Guys: COLD WATER. When you get back from a run, stand in the shower and put the water on cold, and let it hit your legs, knees, hell, if you can stand it, your entire body. Trust me - I know from what I speak on this subject. Now I can sit for two seconds before I roll over. :) Glad you're ok! _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
  12. Still debating. I think it's cool - I certainly think it'll last for what, a week, then be grown in? So if I hate it, I won't have to deal for that long. :) _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

  20. Last night: Landed with no problems. Walking to the hangar, I had to get into an elevator. Canopy blew into the elevator, I didn't, doors closed, I started getting dragged towards the door, I had to release my RSL, then pull my cutaway handle, which of course, took forever. Finally cut away as I was flush up against the door. Then had to spend an hour finding a custodian (and had to tip him) to get him to go to the bottom of the elevator shaft and get my canopy back. Woke up before I got the canopy back, but I remember we were on our way. Explain THAT one. Oh, and during the jump, we were a few feet above the ground the whole time, like we were in a wind tunnel, but when me and the person I was jumping with deployed, both our canopies opened without a problem regardless, and just sort of stood us up. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" 21. I'll think about it. But lemme tell you - only children don't have it as easy as you might think. You got busted, who did you confide in? Your parents fought, who did you listen with? You got beaten up, who'd you go to? I had books. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

  25. Go to a real running store (ask around, call up the local running club and see what they suggest) and get your feet looked at - running shoes are a highly personal decision, usually based on what your feet do. Do you pronate? Have an arch? No arch? Big? Small? One foot less size than the other (60% of all people are...) It's worth it. Consider running sneakers an investment in your health. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
