Rest: Rest is as important a factor in your training as is running. Without adequate rest you will injure your muscles, possibly beyond repair in time for the race. During the week, you rest while training by taking walk breaks and you also rest by not training for longer than 60 minutes at a time. Resting allows your muscles to rebuild stronger than they were before. Just sayin'... _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

Hope you wound up doing it. You feel that much better when you're done. I ran a half marathon this weekend - in the pouring rain - at mile six, thought I'd just run it, not for time, but for training, then a guy on my running team (NY Harriers) saw my Harriers shirt, and asked if I was running for time. I said no, he asked what my best was, I told him, he said, "you can beat that. Let's go." and basically goaded me for seven more miles. Average HR was around 178. Thought I was gonna DIE. But - Beat my PR by over 1:40 - Total time: 1:50:54. I couldn't believe it. So keep it going. Don't quit!!

Broke a new personal best - half marathon, 1:50:54. Jumped out of a bomber. Sat in Temple for Yom Kippur. All in all, pretty good. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

And which one of you owns a Porsche?! By Dan P. Blake Chicago Tribune staff reporter September 29, 2006, 7:09 AM CDT Chicago police this morning are looking for two parachutists who jumped from a skyscraper construction crane in the city's Streeterville neighborhood -- the second such stunt in just over a week. Security cameras captured the two people as they floated down in Cityfront Plaza just east of Tribune Tower, one block off Michigan Avenue, around 4:30 a.m. Then, the jumpers get into a gray Porsche SUV and drive off. "We can't have people jumping off cranes near the Tribune Tower and the NBC Tower," a Near North District police lieutenant said this morning. Last week, Ron Bolden, a Tribune Tower security guard, called Chicago police after spotting three people gliding to the ground at Cityfront Plaza Drive between the Tribune's building and the NBC Tower, he said. Bolden, a military veteran, said he was making his rounds outside Tribune Tower when he recognized the sound of a parachute opening, and when he looked up he saw blue and red parachutes opening just north of CityFront Plaza. Chicago police reviewed surveillance video from that first jump and it showed three men getting out of a black SUV with heavy equipment about 20 minutes before they jumped, Bolden said. Later, after the men had landed unhurt, video showed them getting into the SUV and driving away, police said. If caught, the jumpers could face misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass to land, police said. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues." -

Fucking two-screen camera. Brand new. I'm used to the horizontal split, not a vertical split. Book is called "Can We Do That? Outrageous PR Stunts, and Why Your Company Needs Them." - By Peter Shankman, Taliban supporter, according to O'Reilly. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" Nah, it was all good - It's O'Reilly, I TOTALLY expected that. :D I'll take the book plug, and will take that I didn't look horrible on TV. For me, that's a win. Besides, everyone knows that if you disagree with O'Reilly, he brands you anti-American and supporting the Taliban. Overall, I'll take it as a win. :) _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

Pay off the cards ,first and foremost. then cut up all but one, preferably an AmEx that forces you to pay off at the end of the month.
