Are you kidding me? All of Long Island is Hicksville, expect for the little tip on the end. obviously you are not FROM long island - though i will say there are parts - as far as the hamptons go - thats complete snootyville - walk around nassau and other parts in suffolk and see how "hick" it really is "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

yup - when i was about 5 - we had a local farm and it was a field trip - we milked a cow AND a goat - and made butter and drank the "fresh milk" i was young but i remember it was NOT yummy - probably why im not a huge milk fan "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

hahah yes i did... and i would run upstairs shut the door and lock it (which could be unlocked from the outside) and hide in my closet... seriously though - i was "spanked" as a kid - had shoes thrown - cracked across the face the whole nine - i would NEVER consider it abuse though... my brother and i were really good kids for the most part, but we DEFINITELY had our moments and we absolutely deserved a good crack - it taught us not to do it again and to take our parents seriously instead of just hearing threatening words that meant nothing - i've worked with kids for QUITE sometime and they have absolutely zero respect for their parents because their parents would rather be their friends - thats a serious problem - my parents did NOT get their kicks or power trips from discipline - but we turned out to not only be respectful kids but respectful adults as well "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

i cant stand when cops feel the need to be complete assholes... i got pulled over a few months ago because i was going 40 in a 35 on a main road - and there were cars FLYING by me... he pulls me over in a dunkin donuts parking lot and the first words out of his mouth were not "license and registration" it was "so heading to new york in a hurry i see" - (this happened in delaware after i was leaving class one night - and my car has ny plates)- i dont really know how i held my patience but he was all - "you know the speed limit is 35 and you were going 40 - that is way past the limit and a danger to other drivers" - luckily i got away with a warning but he was a freakin young cop too which REALLY pissed me off - talk about needing to get laid "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me

Now there's an oxymoron if I've ever seen one! There's a Hicksville on Long Island?!?
